Absolutely throws out most of the movie canon because let's be honest, while the Rogue and Logan dynamic is great, they did her dirty not following the comics and I'm firstly a comic and tv series version fan. Honestly still very much a work in progress so your guess is as good as mine as to where this will end up though!
