Update Complete
WRFA has now been updated to e-Fiction 3.5.5. There are still some issues with security policy, if you have posted a story and it has yet to show up in the archive please send an e-mail and lets us know to update your validation status.

WRFA 'fixed', no upgrade for now
UPDATE:
The attempted upgrade from eFiction 3.3.1 to eFiction 3.5.3 did not go as planned. Nothing but "Internal Server Error" pages afterwards. I've put in a ticket to the eFiction folks and hopefully they can help my figure out what is breaking. In the meantime, I rolled back to the original files and edited the piece of code in the header.php that was generating most those errors we've been seeing, and got rid of the huge log file that was filling up all of Devil Doll's space allotment. Hopefully we won't have problems posting up stories/chapters from now on. The emailer.php file and a couple others still contain some depreciated functions, but those are less straightforward to fix so will take more time. I'll proceed with the upgrade only after I hear back from eFiction and will notify everyone ahead of time before I start.

WRFA Upgrade
In an effort to deal with the errors we're seeing with the WRFA, I'll be upgrading the eFiction package. I will start the upgrade at 16:00 EST, which is in just over 20 minutes. If all goes according to plan, there will be minimal downtime. If not, wish me luck debugging things quickly ;)

Thanks!

Update
The archive appears to be fixed (FINALLY!).

I've clicked on numerous stories, and added test stories and chapters (and enlisted volunteers to do the same), and it's all working fine as far as we can tell. Please let me know if you find anything that appears to be broken (include the URL and any error messages you see).

Archive Issues
Something went kerflooey at my host today that broke a number of my sites that run off mySQL. They are still working on it. More news as I get it.

New user verification
ETA: FIXED! It appears that our host has changed some server settings that enabled us to use security codes to filter out spammers during new user registration. We are currently working with our host on this, and hopefully registration will be back up shortly.
