I’ve just read the first chapter and I love it! It has such a melancholy air and my heart is aching for poor Rogue.
“If my father shouted at me, beat me, told me I was a monster, a freak, at least I would know he knew I was there. At least he would be acknowledging me.” – great line, says so much.

god, this story is so fantastic so far. you really know how to build characters and plot line and pace yourself- not rushing to fit it all in, but always giving a hearty helping of content with each chapter. keep it up. you're awesome!

I really like this! It's a great take on them meeting in another way and it's well-written. My only tiny problem is that it's moving a little slow, which is normally fine except I'm dying for updates! I need to know what happens next :)

I love it. Marie is innocent but has still seen her share of bad times. The way you described her parents is just heartbreaking.
