Love you, baby
I totally melted there. Adorable!!! So nervous about whatever's going down with Xavier. I hope it doesn't turn out that he's in on something that will hurt them. :/
aww It's nice to see a guy having psycho clingy thoughts too xXx
Author's Response: Lol. Yay for psycho clingy Wolverine ;)
This chapter was awesome. Hyper-Masculine-Yet-Clingy Logan is pretty damn funny. And the dynamic with her understanding his thoughts, especially when they are a little dark and disturbing, is really interesting. Like Logan, I'm glad she's talking to him about it. So excited to hear two more chapters are on deck!
Author's Response: I think he's pretty funny too. Glad the humor came through! And that is definitely an interesting dynamic--even if Logan doesn't let himself act on his darker thoughts, he still has them. And Rogue sees it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Loved the update. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Wait no longer =D
First, I am glad to hear I am not the only with a story writing itself out of order. I have large chunks of Everything written that we are chapters away from!
Anyway, I really thought this chapter was interesting there is LOTS at play here. I find it really concerning that Charles didn't understand what Marie did to herself and Rogue. He is the one who has warned her about what she did. Does he think she wouldn't have been so foolish as to do what she did? Oh Charles. I need to go back and try to figure out what he thinks Eric might know.
The WHOLE bit with Wolverine in her room is absolutely adorable!! By the end I think she had finally figured out. Of course she COMPLETELY missed the part where she agreed to live with Logan in the new apartment. Oh that's gonna be fun to read. Marie is going to be sooo pissed and pleased with herself all at the same time. :) Lovin' it!
Author's Response: That reminds me, I wanna finish your story! I read the first chapter and nearly had a freakin' heat stroke. That's totally going on the 'To-Do' list this week, right under, like, grocery shopping and stuff =). Expect reviewage. I agree there was lots at play in this chapter. It kinda kept pulling me in a million different directions. I don't think Charles has any idea at this point what Erik is planning--but I do think he's going to find out as he questions the Erik in Rogue's mind. And I think he's only going to get access to her mind by helping her restore her memories. (Yay for overcomplicated plot devices! I really outdid myself with this one, heh.) Wolverine and adorable--those are two words you don't often see together. I like it!
