The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
I have read this fic several times, yet I still don't know exactly why I love it so much. I think part of it is because it's more comicverse than movieverse, something I'm more familiar. Part of it is because it shows a side of our two favorite characters the we don't think about, the pain and horror of the fighting and dying that's some much a part of their lives as warriors. But I think the biggest reason is because I think this is probably the most beautifully written story on this site. Bravo.
I have to agree with all reviews and say this is one of my favorites because it seems so real. It's a beautiful depiction of love.
I know there was a sequel to this written by another author- do you the title and author? That one was great as well.
Extraordinary. Simply extraordinary.

that is so gorgeous and poignant! what an amazing story. sad they are treated so carelessly by their oblivious teammate. but sweet and tender in their caring for each other's pain.
wow...such a powerful story and the gentleness of their actions with each other was just brilliant and unique.
Amazing little fic that was beautifully written I loved it x
Author's Response: I'm glad. Thanks so much. :D
Beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank You. :)
Beautiful! just beautiful!
Author's Response: Why thank you. :)
Great one - very good how it juxtaposes the usual "constant healing equals constant sex" idea. Glad to find this side of their mutation explored, which is so often neglected. Very credible and true-to-life rendering of what sex can be, and what it very often isn't.
May I be so bold as to suggest proof-reading, though? You would probably find a number of the spelling kinks yourself, and I do find that I stumble a little in reading. Which really is a little awkward, because there are so many great ideas and wonderful expression there that it would be a shame to waste them.
Author's Response: Yeah, I wrote it because you never see this kind of thing with them two, its always hard and fast and what not. And it *can't* always be like that, this felt more real.
As far as the errors *sigh* I can garantee you I would not catch them, I am a walking grammar/spelling nightmare, have been all my life. If you could point out the mistakes I'd be more than happy to fix them :)
That is... God, just beautiful!! I'm almost in tears, just lovely! Thank you so much for sharing! Wow!!
Author's Response: *blushes* You're welcome :), no crying though.
How absolutely beautiful; what an ending!
Author's Response: Aw, thank you. Ending is my favorite part too. :)
Sad, beautiful, peaceful - perfect!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks. It is sad, isn't it? I love the peaceful thing. Rest- very nice. Thanks :)
Wow Great job i really enjoyed it. I think you should give this bunny a treat...it definitely deserves it!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad. But the bunny should just be happy I let it live. ^.^
Never thought of their 'gifts' as being such hindrances to their personal well being and mental health. Hate the idea of how the others take them for granted. Simply adore the idea of the two invulnerable people allowing their vulnerabilities to show but only to each other. Goes to prove the adage 'there's someone for everyone'. Really great story, loved it!
Author's Response: Thank you. :) You have to remember the others don't *think* they're taking them for granted, they see their invulenerabilty/healing as a 'gift' too. I like the 'there's someone for everyone' adtage for them, nice way to sum it up!
Don't really know what to say about this one. Had to take this to my favorites, because I have a feeling I will read this over and over again for quite a few times. Leaves me feeling peaceful.
Author's Response: Thanks, I had no intent here so peaceful works for me. I hope its better every time you read it. :)
