This is hands down one of my favorite X Men fanfiction pieces I've ever read. You tell an incredibly original story in an incredible way. I always find myself coming back to reread.

Okay, funny story. My husband was watching I am Legend while I was reading this - I had my eyes on this story because, well - I hate scary movies. That's not the point though - the point is, when I got to this chapter, it was the 'epic battle' portion of the movie playing in the background with the inspirational swelling soundtrack music. It was crazy - I was reading (and re-reading) parts of this chapter, and I could *see* it happening in my head, and it was all slomo and kick ass - I have never read a fic quite like this one. Your use of language is gorgous. It really made me feel, and feel like I was there - and even at the end, I sort of expected Logan and Marie to make it out, or for Logan to jump up and kick ass. I love that he didn't though, and you chose to tie it all up in an epilogue. It just felt very noir - and I really, really, REALLY loved it. And I felt like I should take the time to tell you that. Fantastic.

Wow... holy crap.. This was amazing. Amazing. Not a pretty story, but not all are, but it ends happly enough and though things arn't perfect they seem truthful. I don't know how to explain it. I absolutly LOVED your writing style, the lush details that you put into every scene captivating the eye. Gods above.
I have to say the 2nd person point of veiw I don't like. I pretty much never read stories with it, but you made it classy and it fit so well that I can't say that I would put it any other way. You can be sure that I'll be re-reading this in the future! O___O; I'm still reeling a bit from finishing it...
Anyway, what a wonderful job! -clap clap-

This story is done? Finished? You are evil!! Can you write more? Please? I need to know what happens next! Does Logan challance Scott? Does he win? Will Marie forgive him? Will they run away from that place and live in Fiji? LOL I need to know more!!! But Really good story. I love how you went to such a dark place with it showing how everyone has changed and why.
