Wow...took several reads, but neat story idea! Never thought of him as the mentally/emotionally adulterous one. I get the whole thing now, but still have one question...what exactly does he mean by ‘the weight of a thousand ghosts’? I understand the weight of wanting something you can’t have, the weight of the pretending and acting like everything is hunky-dory. But how does that equal out to ‘a thousand ghosts’?
good story, nice read
Author's Response: have you ever spent so much time doing what was expected of you that one day you wake up and realize that you... the person you think of as yourself isn't who you are?
I know that may throw more confusion at you but for me the 'a thousand ghosts' could be chances missed, bits and pieces of an individual's identity that gets eroded away by duty, expectations.
Being a people pleasure often times you put everyone before you and forget the parts of you that are unique. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the feedback.
Aha it's Scott's POV.
Love those small Logan and Marie hints ^_^
