I know it's been years since this was published but I just had to comment. I LOVED this story. I loved how you portrayed Logan's more animal side and that fact that he's not ashamed of it like he is in other stories.
I'll be the first to admit that I love a kickass Marie who's sure of herself and doesn't get pushed around. But I love a dominate Logan even better. I'm not ashamed to read this in front of my husband at all LOL.. AWESOME work. I hope you've been continuing in this fandom since!

There are a few stories about that have tackled this subject and the true animal side of Logan the difference is though that *you* did it well.
Everything else I wanted to say has been said already (although much as I loved this fic I think I leave the alter worship to Wolf!)

I don't know how many times I've read this story and it never goes bad. I could read it a million times and always find something to enjoy about it.
True the subject is a bit preference oriented but still, you managed to tackle it with class and style. My hat's off to you! Great story, great imagery and you managed to corral both feral Logan and Marie perfectly. Bravo!clap clap clap.

Wow....just, wow. It's like reading this I was thinking "Okay, I probably shouldn't be enjoying this but I really am!" I will admit that I was blushing quite a bit while I was reading but hey, it's natural, it happens to all of us who are females (and there definitely are heightened hormones around that time as well) and life, even a sex life, doesn't come to a complete halt for it, does it? Also the whole possessive, animalistic side to Logan is very naughty but VERY alluring!
You did such a great job tackling this topic. Any chance of a sequel?.....

It was all you promised it would be and then some.
I think both are vulnerable, but only one of them in position to take advantage of the other. Logan is under too much pressure and does what he can to stay functioning under the disguise they need from him. Maybe the moment he told Jean he could be 'the good guy' has turned into a curse for him.
So his alter-ego takes what he always considered part of him. But by doing it so Marie agrees to be used and be a tool for him. And it's almost concented but not. And it's a violation and yet it has been there slumbering. It doesn't mean that what Logan has done is right. And what's worse,what consequenses will come out of this? Will Marie always be happy to be under his power and under his conditions for long?
So many questions and so much space for further development. You did deliver something very especial here.
Author's Response: Thanks honey, as always you manage to hit the notes I was trying to sound out. The possession of her, the domination and the cruelty of his actions. Yes it's been there resting between them for so long but now he was at his lowest ebb he caved in. He took what he shouldn't have and deep down he *knows* it as well.
Where it goes from here we don't know, but it's a point of reference for them both. *This* was the point that took them over the edge into territory neither of them are ready for. If they survive is another matter entirely.

I know there's many women out there who don't embrace it, hate it, call it the curse but it's part of being human and we should be able to 'feel' it. It happens rarely, but I'm speechless.
Allow me to elaborate...I'm speechless in a good way. Most authors will embrace only certain parts of Logan's more animalistic side to suit their needs in a story. His heightened sense of smell to notice Marie's attraction to him; his sense of hearing so he may evesdrop on a conversation; his eyesight to accompany the evesdropping. Allow me to compliment you on embracing all of Wolverine in many wonderful ways.
Some may not approve of the subject matter at all; appreciate your handling of it; or even admit that period sex even takes place. Of course it does. And without stepping foot into this forbidden territory, the whole of the Wolverine simply cannot be explored. You handled what *could* be a very squicky subject very well, IMO.
Bravo!
Author's Response: Thank you honey, I try to get into every part of him (LOL). There's something so primal about his drives, the needs, the urges and I watched X3 again. At the end of it he looked too settled, content, he'd just killed Jean FFS! So this was my antidote to Emo Logan, my take on his reactions, glad you enjoyed it and approved of me having a go at a subject many shy away from. Thanks again hon it is appreciated.

wow that was intense! I love wild Logan. That side of him is just so raw. Really makes for a good time, so to speak.. LOL Great job. I really enjoyed that (even with my somewhat squigginess of period sex.) With any other two people i would have been grossed out but with Logan and Marie is works... Again Great job.
