Anyway, that third chapter? Urh, good gods, that was nice.
Logan, most of the time? Nice.
Logan/Jackman and bathtub smut? That should be illegal. Should be the bane of PTAs everywhere.
I'll never watch The Fountain's bathroom scene with an innocent eye ever again. Not that it is innocent to begin with, but well. And well, it does help that Logan and Marie have suck a crackling chemistry.
And about your ability to write smut... I don't think good smut has much to do with wide knowledge and crude description, but rather : a good grasp at characterization and a great way of dealing with your character's inner voice. You're naturally good at that, so your smut is great too. Logical.
As someone said once : "Staying IC during sex scenes is particularly important, because sex is a deeply personal thing, and a sex scene is your character in the raw; naked and exposed."
YOU are very good at characterization, and you always convey the POVs with such ease, really. Your writings are natural, alive and vibrant. So is your smut. Smut can be such a pain to write, it's to easy to start spouting nonsense, and fall into the Pit of Silliness.
It's not about the act, it's about the character's feelings, reactions, characterization, and the overall picture. You're really, really good at that.

Been there, done that. More often than I care to count or remember...
