The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive

this was great! I loved everything, and the bit about Erik was great. Also, about her patrolling the grounds, although I'm surprised that she didn't have a bag constantly packed for the urge to run, considering that she had to do things that the personalities would have done. *grins* great job! It was very moving and thoughtful and heart wrenchingly painful. With a happy ending.
Wow, so moving, so full and rich with the desperation and hurt of all those lives and thoughts and memories.
I know this fic is fully about Marie and how Logan helped her find herself again; but just a little side note on shredding the Ice Prick would have been so satisfying! Not that anyone could have known exactly what, and to what depth, Rogue's mutation would take from them; or how the 'cure' would take all that and turn in back onto her...but nasty, rotten, self-serving crap like what Bobby was up to can *never* be completely kept hidden. It's so sad and painful that she had to find out the way she did, from her own mind. Even an unavoidably overheard conversation from around a corner would have been less painful.
This is going into my Favs, Jo, it's sad, lonely and painful; but also just so lovely and heartwarming in how Logan came to her rescue. Another 'Brava' with a standing O!
Author's Response: Thanks honey, I wanted the way she found out about Bobby to be the worst way possible. Logan would have wanted to kill him yeah but his mind was on Marie *then* not what *had* happened. He hasn't got away with it, by no stretch of the imagination he's a patient man remember? He'll get his. Thanks for the feedback honey.
