Uh...I'm not really a science-fiction kinda person so... I have NO clue what's going on in this story. I understand maggots, Logan dragging Marie around, and that's about it. Everything else-WOOSH!-right over my head.
Author's Response: Right now they're in space, about to blast towards a planet that Logan and Marie escaped earlier. Distances are long and yadda-yadda-yadda and there's this really cool traveling method that requires people to get naked and plunged in to a big bowl of gelatin. Otherwise this whole mess is just something I cooked up to keep Logie silent, but as usual he got the last word and I'm screwed because he's getting real exited about this. Whole new array of ways to kill and/or mutilate him! Yay! ... Or it is just my medication that's a bit wonky... ;)

Ya know, for a split second there was the fleeting thought, 'Oh, isn't that nice? Ara still made it a happy ending!'
Then common sense kicked in and a little tiny thought at the back of my head roared forward with the intensity of a neutron bomb! 'THAT'S BULLSH*T AND YOU KNOW IT!! ARA DOESN'T DO HAPPY ENDINGS ON FICS THAT GO LIKE THIS ONE!!' And sure enough, that little thought was given full voice and complete legitimacy once I read bima's review.
Dammit! I hate it when that little voice in the back of my head is right!
