Man, oh man, I STILL love this story. Every time I read it... it's just so good. Great plot and character development, convincing dialogue, vivid descriptions. Rou-- you gotta post some more stuff! I miss your writing.

I have no explanation as to why I haven't reviewed this before now [I have slapped myself to save you the bother!] I re-read this last night and just as the first time, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Love your depiction of both Logan and Rogue and the way you tied it all in and brought them to the mansion. You were very clever in one particular aspect – although I like most am a sucker for the happy ending, I also love to read the angst/sad/moving/dark etc and a lot of the time when you finish reading a story that’s had the happy ending plastered on the end it can ruin the feel of the whole thing. You gave this an ending that although not the way we wanted it to go, fit the story as a whole. THEN....you gave this an unbelievable added extra....the happy ever after that didn’t take anything away from what had been before, just enough and completely in keeping with your fic. Beautifully done x
Author's Response: Well thank you very much! :D I would never slap you...it always hurts my hand more it seems... I'm a sucker for a happy ending, yet I like to think that I worked hard enough on all the stuff that comes before it to not taint it with something too sweet. But these two didn't feel...dark themselves, I guess. They were in horrible, horrible situations. They just needed a little time to heal. So we just didn't rush them into a happy ending, we let them find it themselves. :D Thanks for the love!

So I just found this story - I don't know why I had not started it before. It kept me on my toes, and I'm glad I read it from start to finish (waiting for the chapters would've driven me crazy). The ending was perfect, sweet but not overdone. Great job!

Hip Hip Hooray!! Yay for completed fic!! You did an excellent job the whole way. Loved every chapter! And I think you may have crossed over into some kind of super human category reserved for people who update quickly AND finish stories. Incredible. Thanks for the entertainment. ;)

I'm still holding out hope :) I would love to see how different they are after time. I have really loved reading this story, I don't think I have ever reviewed so much. froe some reason I got really attached to the people in this story...please please please continue this great story. Dang. If only I could see this on big silver screen with Anna and Hugh in leading roles. Especially this epilogue that you said would be unnecessary to read.
I enjoyed the whole story immensely, but this last chapter somehow managed to steal the whole show. And it left me wondering... What happens next? Not too many fics today do that anymore.
Oh, and thanks for not upping the rating. Anything more intimate between these guys at this point wouldn't have worked IMO.
Author's Response: You know, I really wish all my stories were on the big screen (money....) lol. I said it was unnecessary because for me the story ended the previous chapter, but I knew most people would have felt a little heart broken at that ending so I sat down and had to ask Wolvie and Rogue 'okay, guys, if you do see each other again, when and where?' And thats what they told me, and nothing afterwards. So its an open ending for everyone :Drn...Would you jump some guy you haven't seen for three years and only known for two weeks before that and during those two weeks had quite a bumpy relationship for most of it? It's never usually a good idea. ;) Thanks!

Author's Response: One more chapter. Sorry. I don't think there will be a follow up but there will be an epilogue, so that should help soothe the transition from Putrefaction to no Putrefaction.
