Wow, gotta say-and apologize to Ransom, but I like your take on the whole plot maybe just a bit better. But probably because it's not nearly as heartbreaking as the self loathing and self hatred of Ransom's Logan. Which, of course makes hers better in completely different ways. You can just about taste it all in her fic, the heartbreak and soul wrenching... Logan not stopping to think first, the automatic jump to the conclusion that she's f*cking around simply because she can now, and the *almost* understandable need for revenge against that thought. Then the walls come tumbling down and they don't have the decency to take him with them. 'Oh, god, blackouts, the absorbsion of that blue bitch, she hasn't a clue what she's doing, she hasn't a clue what I've done, and I have to make sure she never does...
It's a compliment Jen, at least from a shipper like me, to say yours is better just because it doesn't break my heart like Ransom's does. It's sad, and it still conveys all the angst, but if there's such a thing as angst "light", this would be it-as least as far as this fic/plot/story is concerned.
