I think there is room for a sequel and it would be greatly appreciated :-) But i can see why you wouldn't have one...
Great story, by the way. You did a wonderful job portraying Marie's character. I like the twist on how she's not anywhere near 16 years of age, and how she went about that.

Aw!! Dammit, Kare! Such a tease with those closing lines!! So she trusts him, huh?
I asked this of another author less than 24 hours ago - can us hopeless shippers assume he went with her and they lived happily ever after?? Huh? Huh? Please?!?
Author's Response: Well, yes she does trust him.
After all he came by himself and not because Xavier send him or something like that ^_~
And if there is a happy ending... well, just read the comment I gave White Dove. It is right below yours.
So I guess there are a number of possibilities. I doubt he would leave with her right away, but who knows. Maybe they will meet again ^_~

hmmm........ damn i hoped Logan would have convinced her not to go. Oh well great chapter! I really enjoyed it! I love that she trusted him in the end though. great story. Any chance of a sequel?
Author's Response: I really don't think that there would have been a way for her to go back to Xaviers. And I don't think this Marie would have wanted to. Beside, I really think that Logan understands that. Even if he made other choices, he knows that she has a point.
And well. I don't plan to do a sequel. I don't think I ever will. But if it is any hope for you: No one knows how old Logan will become or physically can become. And the way I wrote her, she is practically immortal, as long as she makes an effort.
Might not exactly sound romantic, but I think in a very distant future, they might meet again, sharing the stories that happened in between. Maybe they both settled with someone else. Maybe they both went through similiar things and fit, or maybe they meet and part and meet and part and meet and....
Personally I feel like I put her through enough. There are a thousand posibillities laying in front of them. So it is pretty save to say they could have a happy end ^_~

Author's Response: To be honest: at first I thought it to be completely out of character till September convinced me that it acutally works.
