I have read this story I don't know how many times and the gods can't tell me why I never reviewed it!!
It's BEAUTIFUL!! I loved the 'snap' as everything locked into place and all the "except it had" as the simple explanation as to WHY it was all different now. And the shower scene was just....wow....yeah, a life's fantasy that had been all but extinguished suddenly come true on the worst night of your life EVER...yeah, wouldn't YOU cry just a little??

mmmm, love love love this.
the repitition of "except it had" was great, how everything just kinda fell into place suddenly and naturally and now everything was new but familiar and natural at the same time.
lovely, hot...and definitely makes me want lemon-orange sauce now LOL!

Realization, acceptance, wanting, getting, understanding - shipper's heaven!
wonderfully written scenes from the comfort given on the swing at the beginning to the sex at the end all wrapped together with superb dialogue and thoughts.
