Does she live?
That's where you end it?!
Good story :-) Sequel, yes?
really good til the ending....the marriage proposal part was a bit....out there...like it didn't fit as well with the story.
Interesting. Very interesting, different concept I like kt :3
I truly wish you would continue this series. It just screams for a happy ending!
Nice, yet sad story. I wonder if Logan knows that her mutation will return and that having a baby will be quite difficult.
Please write a sequel to this one.
This is a great continuation of 'Beautiful', but I do hope there is another installment. We have to know how the operation turns out and how Logan and Marie deal with what happens after -- her powers coming back, getting married and >gasp!< having a baby. You've got a really great tension going here with Logan believing he's not good enough for her and Marie assuring him he's perfect; and of course, the question of her health makes it all that much more poignant. I look forward to seeing if they find a 'happy ever after' and whether 'ever after' is all the time in the world, or only all the time they need to convince one another that they are both perfect -- for each other. --Wendie
Im gunna cry. That song has gotten me through a lot since the first time I heard it. I play it for hours to make me feel a little more human and a little less alone.
I loved this story. It hit home for me.
Oh, such a lovely melancholy piece of writing. I adore it.
I had several fav lines, but this stood out:
“Six weeks from now, you free?”
“I guess.”
“Go out with me.”
So very Logan.
This is such a gorgeous piece of writing and I echo the voice of others when I say I’d love to see more...
I agree wholeheartedly with Shuttlelauncher -- you can't end it here. You've got us on pins and needles about side effects and potentially deadly outcomes. Anything that can throw Logan into that much of a tizzy is no small matter and deserves exploring to the Nth degree. I also concur with your other two reviewers; this is sad and sweet, but does leave us with a hopeful feeling -- how could a soft, gentle kiss and a vow from Logan to be with her 'always' be anything but hopeful? Trouble is, you made us wonder if 'always' might not be a whole lot shorter for Marie than they want it to be. So, I say, there's at least one more chapter in this...please? --Wendie
Lovely! Sad and melancholy, but with the just right glimmer of hope at the end.
This is sweet. Sad but sweet.
What's going to happen!? You can't leave it there...
