My first reaction when I read the first few paragraphs were "ROGUE is DEAD and JEAN is ALIVE?! WTF!?" and to promptly stop reading. But for some reason I continued to read and now I'm glad I did! Wonderful story! X2 would have been so much better if it had ended like this! I mean, who cares if Jean dies?

This story is absolutely beautiful. The descriptions were wonderful and vivid. I actually cried when I thought Marie had died. Her last message to Charles was heartwrenching. Then it was revealed she was alive, and I couldn't believe it. What's wonderful was that she was able to touch skin to skin, possibly from absorbing so much of Jean's power. The reunion between Logan and Marie at the police station was beautiful. It was like nothing would be able to separate them ever again. The love scene between them was great, if a little brief. I hope you do a sequel where they have a family or something.

I loved this - completely original i don't think i've seen anyone have this take on the plane incedent before which is quite hard with the amount of great stuff on WRFA (shame jean didn't die somehow, but i wish that in every story that's just me !!) great job well done x
