How about a new chapter?
Interesting. I like this story so far. Wish Marie were a bigger role but I can wait. (Not too long I hope.....) Update soon!
Author's Response: I know, I know. I'm a Rogue girl more than a Wolvie girl, but this is his story so I wanted to make sure I'm not forcing her in where she doesn't belong. We have to make sure he develops as he should, else he might not grow up to be the Wolvie we all know and love. Trust me, uh...absence makes the heart grow fonder? :)
thank god you decided yo continue this fic and i can't wait till rogue stumbles into this story somehow. will be interesting to see how you manage it. and awww for poor hurt logan, you guys are mean for laughing at him. and hasn' anyone wondered why someone would name their kid 'dog'? lol, talk about the halo affect.
Author's Response: I'm glad to here it, somehow I'm sure she'll catch up to us. We all having embarrassing moments in our childhood and we all got laughed at. Wolverine should be no exception. :) Maybe he has fleas....?
Oh please tell me this isn't the end of it!
Author's Response: Ok. This isn't the end of it. :) No fears, we got a long way to go on this one.
This fic is wicked! Who would've thought a story based on the origin comics could be twisted to really make you care about all the characters involved and not only James/Logan. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Who would have thunk it? lol, thanks. I got one more marvel character plan that I hope everyone will like. Then we're gonna get the HELL way from the canon to my own little universe. Cuz, as lovely as this story has been, and as sweet as Rose is, this is the WRFA (hint, much?). :D
Very interesting indeed.
Author's Response: Makes Rogue's 'kissing a boy' tramatic coming into mutant story seem kinda trivial, doesn't it? :(
I'm not gonna laugh because if I just think about it I hear an angry growl from behind me...
Author's Response: Maybe your cat is hungry.... It wouldn't be Wolvie. He's too secure in his manhood for that. :X
What a wonderful story idea! Only when I saw it did I realise that it was about time someone did it, and it is well worthwhile to take a closer look at Logan's early years!
Their voices do not always quite work to my mind, though - there seems to be quite a bit of Wolverine-Scott interaction shining through, and I would think James jr. a little too mature and perhaps even still too "wild" in his ideas in this one - kids are hardest to write, I think.
Great the little details and how you keep it all on an everyday-ish level, with just a hint of past drama shining through. James sen. sounds a very likeable man - and they do say that even if you forget about them, your company in your early years determines quite a bit how you treat others in later life, don't they.
Where does the little girl come from, though? And what role will she play? Looking forward to the updates!
Hope you don't mind me dragging a few spelling rogues into the open:
threw: past tense of throw
to walk THROUGH a door
starring: be the star (e.g. in a movie) staring: looking hard at someone
Author's Response: Thank you! Kids are hard when there's no adult around. Especially James because I wanted him to speak pretty property to sort of highlight the difference between him and Dog. Its the properness that makes him seem mature, I guess. I actually glad there is a bit of Scott-Wolverine in the two of them (especially since the Scott this time is Logan! :D). This is Logan without the labs or Stryker or being a mutant even, he's just a little rich boy.rnOh, I love James senior. I see him as a calm, big guy, you know? Very much the 'leader of the house hold' vibe to him. Especially since the poor guy is basically a single father.rnrnHmm..girls usually lead to trouble :) So we SHALL see...rnrnNo, don't mind a bit. *fully admits error proneness* I'll try to go back through and catch them. Thank!
One more time then ;)
Very interesting and I can't wait to find out where you're gonna take this.
Author's Response: :)
