To celebrate your return to the site I am visiting some of your earlier stories, and I was shocked -- SHOCKED -- to see that I had never reviewed this one. It is one of my absolute favorites. You do such a great job with both characters, but even more strikingly you do such a wonderful, natural job of showing how a conversation between these two might really play out. It doesn't go cleanly from a to b, there are tangents and wanderings and misunderstandings, and so many small beautiful moments that are just fantastic. So anyway, thanks for this one...it's a gem.

Enchanting story. I loved quiet, contemplative Logan and how he sweetly charmed Marie...tres romantic.
I’d recently read a fic where Mariko was mentioned, and having never read the comics, I went to Wiki (I know), for info and now with that knowledge...think it was really neat how you incorporated Marie-ko into. It makes me think about the interesting symmetry between these two characters and why the comics never went there…anyway, enough of my random musings.
It was great to read a fic where a post-cure Marie and Logan pairing seem so natural..simple and perfectly plausible...loved it. Thanks for sharing.

great visuals accompany the reading of this beautiful story. The way you wrote it i don't think it would have made a blind bit of difference if he'd given her a weed but i loved your explanation of the meaning of the white rose in the end notes - just makes you sigh a little bit more!! well done X

I love it when I read a piece that seems like it could totally fit into an XMen 4 scene. The interaction between the two is so right on. All of it. I could picture both of them acting exactly how you wrote them.
