Lovely story, but trying to read thru your phonetic spelling of Rogue's accent sort of made it really hard to follow. Maybe trying to be not SO authentic would help. Otherwise, a wonderful story!

Love the story, not too keen on the phonetic Southern dialect. 'Ah' is fine, 'f'r' is OK and leavin' the 'g' of the end of everythin' is right, BUT 'is for 'his' and 'e for 'he' is more Cockney British than Southern. The South lost the letter 'g' from the alphabet long ago, not the letter 'h'. Other than that, nice work! --Wendie
