The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
ok, i totally thought this love triangle/rectangle/whatever would involve Beast lusting after Rogue.
this is totally uncharted territory for me and although the idea of Logan weeping in Hank's arms and begging him makes me giggle so hard, this is still insanely hot.
i just can't wait to see what Rogue thinks about this!
oh...my....GOD! *shrieks*
i never ever EVER in a million years pictured Wolverine and BEAST of all people.
and i have no idea how you made that hot, but you did!!!
ok, i feel dirty now...and pleased LMAO!

I spent a large part of my day yesterday (and nothing got done at home) reading your wonderful story. I decided to wait until morning to review.
This story is a TRUELY inspiring piece. You fleshed out the plot, the characters and their situations so realistically. I have no idea how long you spent on this whole thing, but I must say WOW.
I love Wolverine and I love Logan, sometimes an author will seperate the two in a story and sometimes it doesn't 'work' while I'm reading it... YOU however handled the entire aspect of our favorite mutant with respect and never debased either one or harmed them in any way. EVRYONE in the story (known XMen characters and your original ones worked togehter flawlessly and none of them stuck out in a bad way... And I have to tell you my heart broke as I read how Hank and Logan dealt with their own heartbreak near the end. You created characters that I fell and felt for! Thank You for writing such a piece of art for us! Definitely a favorite!
:)
Have to say that taking your warnings into account if I had seen this on its own I would have bypassed it as being not my thing......BUT......having gotten so engrossed in the first two in the series I found myself just having to know what happened and flippin’ ‘eck I’m glad I read it. There were so many smaller stories running inside the main one that again I couldn't put the damn thing down. Now how do you do that with this part of the story being something that technically I shouldn't have liked?!!!
Loved the undercurrent of Logan being everyone's safety - of him being the wasp so everyone else could be a bee and him needing for that responsibility to be taken away now and again. Loved Logan’s take on Marie and Scotts take on Logan when buying the rings and laughed my socks of at the explanation of how girls tried out their skills by working as a pack to separate off a male! The only thing that I found that disappointed me a little was that she forgave the lying so quickly. Have spent all day reading and have a splitting headache yet I see there’s more! So I’m off to start reading again!
My advice to anyone who may not see this as their ‘cup of tea’ – read it anyway you might surprise yourself!!!
Damn good job - once again I have to mention your amazing description of everything even the smallest of details are in there and great characters again too. X
Author's Response: Thanks for coming along honey, Nine Months isn't for everyone's taste but the characters around Marie and Logan need some fleshing out so their interaction with each other rings true.rnAbout the rings he goes to collect...my hubby was the inspiration for that character, a little grumpy but very 'alive', another hint for Logan that the world holds more than just what he's experienced. rnIn a lot of the stories on here he's Marie's rock, Logan is her touchstone but I wanted him to be more than just her hope, there's more than her who's vulnerable and Logan has honour, trust and desire to help (especially in the early comics) he'll go the extra mile for those who need him. He's been described as 'the heart of the X-Men' and I wanted that to come through in Nine Months as well as the development of his world and those around him.rnrnGlad you had fun with it and thanks for the comment honey, Jo.
