And the 'Story of the Moment' feature rides again! This time to rescue this lovely little fic from obscurity. Two and a half years is waaaay tooooo looonng for this to have languished without a single review.

All of this is very well written, but the last section is especially wonderful.

'her Nancy Drew skills' -- way cool.

'She was the only thing that made him feel this way...made him feel halfway human.' -- as always.

'Darkness settled in behind the trees.' -- beautiful.

'His past was in the way of his future.' -- couldn't have said it better myself.
