I almost didn't read this. In fact I've read so of your other stories before and intentuly skipped this one. But after having read it, I'm ashamed that I refused to read this before cause I thought it'd be too depressing. I think this story is one of the BEST things you've written! It's has so much heartfelt anguish and stunning joy! The characters are almost perfect in tone and voice. My only complaint is that the ending was little rushed, but that is a small thing in the scope of things. Bravo! Just bravo.

I know you aren't around much anymore and I don't know that I have ever reviewed this, but I just wanted to take a moment and tell you this is one of my favorites, it has the right amount of sorrow but with a happy ending at the end.

It made my heart ache and my stomach clench. It made me cry. I can't put any more than that into words, except to say that your skill shone with the different voices and made me wish to experience what Storm saw between them, even if only a pale shadow. Beautiful.
