This one started out weird after the angst of the last chapter in so far as Marie was suddenly all lighthearted and considering what to wear. I would have expected her to still be in shock and just go through the motions of having a shower and getting dressed rather than phoning up Scott for a girly chat.
However, it got better ;) and the end was fab.
I like how Logan managed to surprise her after she'd given up expecting anything. Very hot kiss!
It's also funny how Logan was all nervous last chapter after having turned Marie down and he's all cocky and self-assured once again now that he has the upper hand (in that he's sure Marie still wants him).

Yeah I know - it gets mentioned a bit in the next chapter. I didn't want to go all out and just write that she was emotionally unstable, I wanted to try and show it in highs and lows & the fact that she careers from one to the other far too easily (hence the chapter title *g*)rnrnAnd Logan - yeah, in this he's very good at hiding things. The cocky-ness is just a mask. Rogue'll realise than sooner or later, but for the moment we just see things from her point of view. They'll need to talk it all through properly at some point though. I'm trying to write that part at the moment - and it's a frickin nightmare! I've already re-written it from scratch 4 times!rnrnGlad you liked the kiss *g*

Wow, that was a really strong chapter, it pulled at my heart strings.. very angsty and sad and emotional.
Tough one to write as Logan is always coming up with excuses and changing his mind, but it makes sense if we consider what it'd be like to have feelings for someone much younger than ourselves. We'd probably fight it too.

u don't know how hard my heart lurched when he totally denied the talk the first time. I was literally in tears...... ugh even though he came back and now it seems he's starting to open up about eveything I was falling into that abyss with Rogue. ugh your good haha Now I have to patiently wait for that next chapter and hopefully it will end good yeah *nudge, nudge* lol =D

Wow, I'm such a fan of this story, I love it every time you update! The emotions are so deep and especially in this chapter, the Logan you've created is just so distraught and it's torture how much they need to work things out, but you're writing is just so great, can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh God, this is emotional torture with a side of stomach-clenching physical discomfort! I want to shake him until he realises she was never really young. He's it for her, and she's it for him and it's obvious, but he's making her miserable by staying away and she's too scared, cowardly and dense to realise it. So much for knowing him.
ARGH! *pulls hair in frustration*

He's just too damn stubborn, and has been making excuses for so long he doesn't know how to un-make them anymore. - Heh - that made so much more sense in my head before I wrote it *lol* They're both as bad as each other though. It's very frustrating! Hopefully the next chapter will be a bit lighter *g*

Now THAT was an update!! Awesome chapter! I love how you write Scott. I know I've said it before, but it just bears repeating again and again. He's so broken, but he's still Scott. Rogue needed someone to slap her upside the head and the fearless leader managed quite nicely. I'm really looking forward to her finally talking to Logan.

Isn't it always that way when we're stuck in denial? I understand her fear, but she's also really being a coward. Interesting, I didn't that that would ever work for me, but somehow you make it work within this characterisation.

I really liked this chapter the part of the list was really my favorite part. I like how she doesn't want to lose who she really is. I'd luv to see her explore a little around with Scott, who know the possibilities are endless. can't wait for the next chapter.
