You're getting maudlin again, ara! Have you been reading Romero again? Or watching more zombie movies? You really need to cheer up honey! and I agree w/Bima...definite potential here.
Author's Response: Heh, no Romero this time. Just something old I found and brushed up a bit. I wrote this on this summer, Marie's conversation with the loudspeaker, after quite horrible day at work, then couple of days ago I was cleaning up my archives and decided to give it a shot in the name of science. Wanted to see if I would be able to write just a drabble and leave it there. :)

Interesting - I think this has the potential for a longer story.
Author's Response: I think almost every drabble carries that potential, but this one wouldn't go far. They're stuck, there's nothing that can change that fact, and since I'm expert at writing stories up to that magical point of ultimate stuck, I'd rather let this be than try to solve the situation.
