Author's Response: I do. Poor kid. I dealt with only three years of wearing long shirts and people avoiding me. I cannot immagine never being capable of touch.

Unfortunately, very real. Some people are just cruel beasts with no common sense and no sense of decency (see comment by stupid kid in the story).
Only thing I don't believe is that no one other than Logan was there, at her funeral. Even Xavier, in his new body, should have been there; but Logan being the only one focuses the alone-ness, the solemnity, the futility in the question...."why".
