The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
I was just about to beg for a continuation and realized this is a series! Woo hoo! :D
Awww, what a great story :)
Oooh, Logan: "Marie has to stay, only thing for it."
Oooh, very dramatic!! Love it :D
So who was it? Was it Sabretooth??
Author's Response: Yes ma'am, he's rearing that ugly head of his (...well, maybe not so ugly if we're thinking Liev Schriber...)
Ohh no! Wow this story is really interesting
Author's Response: Sounds like you're hooked! :)
Fabulous story so far! I'm looking forward to reading the other stories in the series. The personalities/voices flow nicely.
I've been waiting for the next installment for what feels like eons. I've always been a sucker for Logan and Rogue trapped together scenarios and this one has me captivated.
Author's Response: Good to hear! :) The next part of the series, Breathe, is already up with chapter one if you wanna take a look at it!
Very nice, can't wait to read more
This is the end? You have it marked as complete. =(
Author's Response: This particular story is done, but there's a lot more to come in the Dark Side of the Moon series! Thanks for reading!
Your writing improves with each chapter. Loved this chapter: simple, but beautifully done.
Author's Response: Thank you! Improvement is an excellent trajectory. :)
Here you can feel the Logan and Marie connection - masterly done!
Author's Response: *whew* It's always kind of an issue with AU, whether or not you'll screw up something that completely worked in the movies. :)
Oh! This is getting good. I'm excited to read the next chapter. =)
Ha! Logan's such an ass. It makes me laugh. Another chapter full of humor and ways for these two to get in trouble. I guess my only quibble with this chapter is your saying Marie served two tours in Afghanistan, but then you say she knows where contraband can be found in the Iraqi city of Fallujah. Please feel free to slap me if you meant for Marie to have gleaned that information from Carol or someone else. Again, though, wonderful chapter. I continue to look forward to your next chapter!
Author's Response: Ach! Actually, what happened was originally I had "her" (Carol) serving two in Afghanistan and then one Iraq, but I figured (a) Carol's pretty young and (b) this is a world without Bush so there probably wouldn't have been an Iraq war, heh. But then I didn't change the city! Thanks so much for pointing that out! Will fix.
his dick’s about frozen to his leg.
What an image... *dies laughing*
I like this story a lot...a little grutty but feels so real. Please send more
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad it feels real. Much more to come!
wow, great start. I can't wait to see how you mix this up with the rest of the movie (or if you go in a totally different direction). I'm loving your characters. Good Rogue, much more comic book-like.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! It's a mix, definitely, and I hope you stay tuned. There's plenty more to go.
Have I expressed yet how much I love this story? If not, please, allow me to elaborate. I love how well you write these two wonderful characters. There's no need to write their dialogue phonetically, which I absolutely adore, because we already know they have accents. It's just two people, being smartasses, and we the reader enjoying the repartee. Another thing I love is that you've given Rogue Carol's powers, but she isn't close to having them mastered just yet.
You've got a great story here that keeps getting better. I'm really, really looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for updating so regularly.
Author's Response: Thank you for your amazing feedback! :D I'm so glad you're enjoying the story better and better, and that the characters' voices are resonating. There's a lot more to go, so I'll do my best to get updating regularly. And I have a beta now, so hopefully she'll keep me on track as far as time and characterization goes, haha.
Evil cliffhanger!
Author's Response: Haha, I know! But it will be resolved soon. Hee.
Another great chapter! My favorite part is definitely the moment Rogue thinks she's about to be captured and her eyes flash green. Logan might be a coarse old bastard, but he's got his soft spots when he recognizes them. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! Logan's sort of like a cactus, isn't he? All squishy on the inside, heh.
I like those stories with a different beginning ^_^
Oh I like this!
How about some more ^_^
Author's Response: Request granted!
I really, really like this. A retelling done well is something to be appreciated, and you've gotten off to a wonderful start. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Thanks! I will do my level best. :)
Oooh, I'm intrigued. I love your take on Rogue.
Author's Response: I'm glad. Movie!Rogue has sass to her, for sure, but she's too physically vulnerable to let it shine. This Rogue's invincible with just one big Achilles' heel, so she feels free to beat down her sass on you like the sun. ;)
