Aw, this was great! I really like your writing...it's succinct but powerful. And the story was just right...moving along at an interesting pace. Even characters that just got a few lines, like Xavier, seemed to be so fully-drawn. Now off to read your next...

A great story. I really like how there wasn't this great UST between Rogue and Logan before they got together. I love a good Rogue is in love with Logan, but he doesn't see her like that or he doesn't think he's good enough for her. But it's refreshing to sometimes get away from that and have them go straight at it. Although I know their relationship has been working toward that way for a while. Great all around piece.

When this first came up on the 'Story of the Moment' feature, I noticed it had over 9,000 words, and it's rather late at night at the moment, so I debated whether to start reading or not. Boy, am I glad I decided to go for it. This was truly wonderful. I loved that you included Remy's side of things and Xavier's confession about keeping them together being safer for everyone else was sheer brilliance. It gives their relationship a depth that few other writers have ever portrayed. Amazing. --Wendie

Liked the story...but where was the terrible injury that Rouge had to be helped to live with ?...apart from that a nice story.
Author's Response: The injury in question was the one that took place in the beginning of the story. Yes, a relatively simple injury to heal if you have Logan around, but the larger part of the story is the ramifications that resulted from Logan healing Rogue. Perhaps I should have been more clear in my summary. Thank you for reading and I'm glad you liked it.
