"Marie" is the first word out of his lips, spoken in a tone that was never used with Jean and she never heard from Bobby. The way we ALL would love to hear our name whispered.
WONDERFULLY DONE!!
Simply gorgeous!
That was truly lovely! Revealing snapshots of Rogue's life through birthdays was quite brilliant; I never would have thought of it. That's why I post REVIEWS and not STORIES.
love it!!! A day which would make anyone else in Rogue's situation sad is a day to embrace and be happy for!
Love the rhythm of this fic, and how you used the birthdays to tell her story. It’s short and yet it’s complete. Wonderful.
I really, really liked that. Thanks.
I like this :-)
Author's Response: I'm glad. ;~D
Feedback good. Story GREAT! Don't know how I missed this one when you first posted it--maybe Comic-cake had yet to introduce me to this site--but I'm glad I found it tonight.
Great line: ""Marie" is the first word out of his lips, spoken in a tone that was never used with Jean and she never heard from Bobby."...Again with the saying something common in an uncommon way. Another example of 'Rose-speak', that glorious way you have of finding the extraordinary emotion in ordinary gestures. You truly have a gift. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. --Wendie
Author's Response: Aww! Thank you!!!! >big goofy grin<
aw :) I like the way you get into Marie's mind here. Very touching final scene!
Author's Response: This was my first real fic (with all that implies), and Im always pleasantly surprised when people like it. Thank you!
*Squee* Beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you! Sorry it so long to say that, I just now saw the review.

I really liked the way the timing and pace of this story. And I also, liked how it ended with him saying just "Marie." A perfect ending that lets me go from here with my own imagination plotting their lives.
I liked this. Quite a lot, actually. Succinct yet graceful. Thank you.
I kinda hate her father a lot, though. Like, want to set him on fire, a lot.

Author's Response: Wow. Thank you, I really appreciate that. And I hate the father too. ;)
I loved it. It was very good. A little short but good.
this was wonderful! I loved it. wish you had a bit more to flush out the in between parts! great job!
How...eloquent. Marvelous snap-shots to detail her life and explain so much. In spite of how short and stilted it was because of the format (not in a bad way, mind you), I came away with a complete picture of Marie and a pretty good one of Logan too.
Well done.
Melanie
Author's Response: Thank you very much!
Nice one. I really love it.
Aw, this is a sweet one
Author's Response: Gracias. ;)
