I love the double meaning of 'one day' -- as in 'one day at a time' is all he can give her -- both literally and philosophically, but also as in 'one day a long time from now' things will change...both for better and for worse. This was beautifully written and most certainly did not deserve to languish this long unheralded. Great job. --Wendie
