Wow, that was fantastic! Reminds me of Cruel Intentions, but far more interesting of course! What with the X-men relations, and all. Great story! I wish there was a follow-up with a happy ending.

Wow, that was great and inspired!
Dangerous Liaisons is one of my favourite stories and you did a really fab job with this, assigning each character perfectly and keeping their email tone of voice believable.
I particularly loved Jean's scathy emails, even though in fiction she's not really evil, but we all love a bit of Jean bashing ;)

I loved Logan's line:
"Jesus, Jean, it's just email--you don't have to sound like you're testifying before Congress or nothing."

and Jean's lines to Wolverine:

"My God, I had to check the from line twice to make sure it was still you. "

and

"You actually thought I would take you? You believe I would allow you to treat me as second best?
Don't bother me again.

The ending was even sadder than the original, what with Logan surviving but not seeking out Rogue and getting back together. The choice is sadder than the death in the original!

Oh my god, this was wonderful. The perfect amount of angst romance and heartache. I'm off to read more of your fics!
