I can't wait to see who you are going to get to next. I've missed this story a lot and I love the way you're characters grow in each chapter! And I really liked how you had John talking to 'Marie' and Bobby not even realize who it was.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. I promise I won't take this long between updates again ;)
I still don't feel sorry for him, teach him to be such a horny little git. xXx
Author's Response: :D lol. Thanks for the review.
Great story. It's so good to see their relationship grpw through the eyes of the others. And Bobby's allways been a kind of coward. You have written it so well.
Author's Response: Yes Bobby's a coward, and he actually knows it. If he wasn't so scared he could have been with Rogue but that wouldn't have been as entertaining as Rogue and Logan so good thing he was such a coward ;)
what an amazing insight into Bobby. they way you portray him, he's sensitive and aware of his emotional confusion, but still trying to do the right thing.
VERY different from how he's done in many other stories on this site, and i love it. in this short story he's complex, compassionate, intelligent, and kind while at the same time jealous, conflicted, and upset.
i love it!
i hope you add more chapter. your ability to capture various voices of characters is great!
Author's Response: Bobby was a little tricky to do because I didn't want him to be completely hated. He loves Rogue but knows he will never be with her because of his fear of her but at the same time can't let go of her completely. You know, normal mutant, young adult, angst, lol.
i love the sound of John's unique voice! glad i know he sucked it up and returned to the right side after making a bad decision.
you worded it perfectly...he was too young to make the decision he made.
wow! just wow...what an incredible voice to her dad. i can totally feel his hatred and close-mindedness.
and dang...the ending, her poor mother...but if i were married to a beast that sent my own child away i might do the same thing.
you have a great talent for writing from other voices. moving onto the next chapter, can't wait to see who is speaking there!
i'm from the south and i have to say you captured Cody's Southern voice perfectly!
i've never seen a story on this site from his perspective, and i really enjoyed this so i'm looking forward to the next chapters with other perspectives on Rogue and/or Logan!
p.s. i'm glad cody is so happy and is glad for Marie once he saw her :)
I love the different perspectives you give here. Each is powerful and a little profound in its own way. I can't wait for the next installment. So please update soon.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot. As for the next installment, I'm undecided as to who will be next. I keep going back and forth between a few choices. Thanks for the review.
Nice.....just a nice coming together of a previously f*cked up situation...no music and rose petals, but a beginning. Very cool.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. I really didn't want them to fall instantly in love and have all forgiven and forgotten. I don't think they would be that type of couple. I wanted them to go slow and be practical. Thanks for all the reviews
Yeah, deep sh*t is where you usually end up when you break somebody's heart, Johnny.... now go kiss some ass and beg for forgiveness.
I've sat here for 25 minutes, trying to get my mind ordered enough to say something about this chapter. I've written and erased, written again and backspaced and found that it's probably better to just say it's a very VERY powerful chapter, and leave it at that.
just heard this song on the radio and went all "i know there's a fic with this...but which one?" - well, found it! =)
cute story =)
Okay, THIS.....
"Listen, sparkplug, I’m here for the ass whoopin’"
....is about the most hilarious thing I have ever read. Genius!
