I find myself far so gleeful at the prospect of Logan swooping in and saving the day that I can't even be angry that the chapter ended in a cliffhanger. Heehee!! Thank you so much for updating. I was driving home from work today thinking about this story, so seeing that there was a new chapter made my day. I'm looking forward to Chapter 11!
Author's Response: Wow! I'm so glad you like it that much! I really am sorry about the cliffhanger...they irritate the heck out of me most of the time. I tought about finishing this chapter out but then I kept thinking it would be sooo long and I knew it had been too long since I posted the last chapter so that's what I ended up with! I hope you'll agree that chapter 11 is worth it though! Thanks for reviewing...it puts a big smile on my face every time!

i just love this story!! and, of course, that logan is a tease and seems to know that he's only biding his time before marie steps over onto the wolverine side (i know, i know - ultimate cheese...lol. i couldn't help the pun.)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! You'll find out I'm kind of a review junkie! LOL I'm glad you like the story. Marie has Logan pegged when she says he's a bit of an egomaniac. He's never had to try to get a woman's attention before so in Marie's case, half the fun for him is the challenge. So here's a yay for Rogan and a yay for the 3 day weekend!

You know how I rate a wonderful story? Be it one that's already complete or one in progress, if I get to the end of a chapter and all I'm thinking about are the characters the author has present, that, to me, is a truly wonderful story. That's what you've created here. I made it to the end of this chapter and my only thought was, "She can't leave! She just got there!", and I'm not above admitting that I check this site every day in the hopes that you've updated this story. Thank you so much for sharing and I truly look forward to your next chapter.

I really debated on how soon she should leave but I just couldn't see Marie sticking around knowing how embarrassed she was by what had happened. As ever, your writing makes me smile! I love it! And my favourite lines from this chapter:
“Ow. Somebody pass the aspirin, please. Or better yet, Logan, pop the claws and just cut my head off and put me out of my misery.”
"I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. A really old dog.”
“Ooo, it must be good! If you're regretting it that much it must have been fun! What's tall, dark, and hairy like in the sack?”
And it hasn’t escaped my attention that these lines are all Jubilees… you write her amazingly.
It has already been commented on, but I definitely sense the Curly / Laury relationship from Oklahoma, which, by the way, is a huge compliment as I love that particular West End show!
Author's Response: Thank you! I guess you can see how much I love writing Jubilee (since I keep saying that) LOL! Her brand of sarcasm is just so easy for me to write. You'll probably think I'm crazy but I've never had the pleasure of seeing Oklahoma starring Hugh Jackman. I know, that's really got to be remedied! Thanks again!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I believe even Logan isn't that much of a rat that he would take advantage of Marie when she was drunk (not that I think he's a rat, I love him!). I've said it before, he's a man with animal instincts so he's not going to be perfect and he wants Marie badly, so it's going to be tough for him to control himself all the time. And here's hoping that he never really does because what fun would that be?

Logan was a little bit of a bad boy in this chapter (even if it was hot,lol), let's hope he redeems himeslf in the next one.

Damn, I love this story. *grins* I am so glad he didn't take advantage of her. I pretty much loved every bit of this chapter - from beginning to end. I loved the bantered dialog at the end too - it ended for me with a smile - a great pick-me-up. More as soon as sanely possible, please!

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty skeeved out by this chapter, as Rogue is clearly far too drunk to legally consent to anything. The fact that Logan is totally sober thanks to his mutation makes it doubly skeevy. I'm finding it kinda hard to like him right now. :(
Author's Response: Honestly, I wasn't too happy with Logan's behavior either but he didn't take it any further, and let's face it, he's male with animal instincts, he can't be perfect all the time. And Marie is obviously becoming very hard for him to resist! Hopefully he'll become much more likeable in the next chapters. Thanks for reviewing!

Author's Response: I'm finding it's pretty easy to write Logan/Marie lovin'. ;) You asked in response to a review I left if I found myself changing directions/scenarios while writing a chapter and I have to say a great big YES! I write lots of different ideas and then have to decide which direction I really want to go from there before I can figure out what I want to use for a final draft. At least I know I've got lots of ideas for future stories! Thanks for reviewing!!
