Logan is a middle aged man that took a minor teen girl, forced to have sex with him, abused her physically (bite her) and emotionally and on top of everything now hes giving her shots of whiskey to get her asleep! So my question is, how come Im so hooked with this story, and think their relationship is totally appealing? lol Somehow you manage to make the "bad guys" look attractive this is what makes this story so different and great. As I said before this is one of the best rogan fics ever! Please update soon :)

hey, thanks for the dedication at the start of the chapter, really happy to see this fic updated. have to say i enjoyed finding out this marie's back-story, and i agree with logan that her grand-parents sounded cool. i can understand why you were worried about the word count, but it flows quite naturally and retains interest throughout. nice work...
Author's Response: Thank you for the feedback. I am really really glad to hear you thought the flow worked. The Grandparents thing grew completely organically as I wrote the chapter. I ended up with a scene that will come much later coming out as well. Its weird how a story doesn't necessarily happen for the author in order.rnrnStray is one of the stories I am always on the hunt for an update from so the dedication felt completely approperiate. :)

I'm still a bit worried dat he has gotten Marie pregnant or dat the lab people purposely left her to him for the sole purpose of getting her pregnant by him. but I have faith in Marie dat she would be strong against the government and especially against Logan's manipulation I still stand by my theory dat Marie is under the influence of survival instinct and dat there will come a day dat Logan would regret/know wot hit him with the way he is treating her bcoz wen she finds out wot he is really thinking and trying to do with her, "hell has no fury like a womans wrath".Logan says dat she is no whore to him but he is making her into a SEX SLAVE which is worse in my opinion.
Author's Response: Natsuki - First thank you for reading and reviewing. rnSecond, I want to be honest with you, I am not sure this story is going to give you what you are looking for. Do you know what the aspects of a dominant/submissive relationship are? This story is about how Logan and Marie's D/S relationship works. Yes, Marie does and will have her own opinions about things but (without revealing too much) their relationship will remain a D/S one throughout even if it may evolve into something else. D/S relationships are complex and this one will be slow to develop. Marie does understand that Logan has claimed her, she agreed to be claimed. (That happened in Kristine's "Anything" if you haven't read that you probably should.)rnrnBTW I will address the pregnancy question in the next couple of chapters and how Logan knows she isn't pregnant.rnrnI am not sure what you mean by survival instinct. Do you mean survival mode?rnrnHopefully you can stick with me but I understand if this kind of relationship isn't to your taste. This is probably my favorite Logan/Rogue story. I'm so happy you're continuing with it and I plan to stick with you no matter how long it takes you to update. It's worth the wait!
This chapter was great and answered a lot of questions about what happened with Marie. I like how Logan was with her, just the right mix of comforting and dominant. I do have to say I'm extremely glad he didn't bring the waitress back with him, though.
Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Writing the part about JoAnne was fun and was only there because a reviewer from the last chapter wanted to know why Logan came home to Marie smelling like sex. That comment got me thinking about whether this Logan at this point in this story would be 'faithful' to Marie and why. His reasoning for not bringing JoAnne back wasn't a completely noble one but he did at least take Marie into account when making the decision. rnrnI needed to get all of the lab stuff out in the open. However I struggled with Logan being tooo comforting for the level of emotional affection in their relationship at this point vs Marie's need to obfuscate and not think about what had happened to her. I am really glad to hear you think I managed to come up with the right mix.rn

I have been reading this until 2 a.m. I just couldnt stop! This dark Logan is so interesting and his relationship with Marie is SO F*** HOT! I have never read a story like this but I am loving it. The way Marie is so into it, they complement each other so well in this odd relationship.
I must say in defense of the oral-sex smut that I luv it. So if the other reviewer asked for none of that I totally ask for the opposite ;)

I enjoy a darker Wolverine, and believe me I immensely enjoy this series, but as a suggestion, could you add in more non-oral sex?

I wanted to get the 'morning ritual' and Marie's acceptance that she would be doing things because Logan asked her to, even if she didn't like them at first established. Just when I think Logan's not being an ass, then he does/says something that proves me wrong. But you know what? I don't mind. This is a very different Logan. I've read many fics with a "submissive" Marie/Rogue. But Logan hasn't been this dark in any of em. So, keep it coming. I for one, is enjoying this immensely.
A question tho.. will the smut ever end? Or there will be some in every chapter?

Like I said, very intense chapter - you explained the relationship he had with Jean with such clarity, I never hated her as much as I did reading about how she strung him along. The silk boxers? Wow. What. A. Bitch.
Poor Marie - a real Jekyl and Hyde moment with Logan at the end! :)

Again, I am in awe of your writing skills. I completely get Logan's thrill with having Marie under his control, his acceptance of that part of him that wants to own her, mold her. You drew me completely in.
With amusement Logan thought that if he could just have a blowjob and go down on a woman before every X-men mission, the Brotherhood and the FOH wouldn’t know what hit them.
OMIGOD. LOL, I loved this. He could probably rule the world if he wanted to - you really got across his enjoyment of this particular part of sex. :)
