You know you are killing me with these short little glimpses into their world right? This is just I don't want to say awesome, but awesome world you've created here that I could totally see happening. But I need more! I wonder if the human side is still sunny days and kids in daycare? I wonder if they get out, could they theortical live in that world undetected or is Logan wasting his time? I'm also waiting for the shint to hit the fan. And you know its going to! This story has some serious epic potential then I see the sort word count and its "damn, she's teasing me again!"

Author's Response: I have no idea of what the world outside is like. Logan remembers what it was back then, and Marie doesn't know anything about it, so if, IF Logie keeps torturing me with these short glimpses, we probably eventually get to see what the wall is hiding from their eyes.rnrnEpic potential... Pfft... Nowadays it's a good day for me if I manage to wring this much out of Logie with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch. :-)

Went to read this series from the beginning...really interesting. What a bleak, dismal world they’re in..or at least the mutant parts of it..she hasn’t been exposed to any other way of life..but Logan..sounds like he was..wonder what his thoughts on all of this are? I like how, even though he doesn’t verbalize it (and doesn’t give the impression he ever will)..she means something to him..he returns for her/to her..and protects her. Even though it seems like their world precludes the chance for a“traditional” sort of romance..their connection is still there and fitting for their circumstances. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thanks for taking your time to write a rewiew. Their world is bleak. This all started when a certain image started bugging me. I could see the first chapter in my minds eye and thought that it would have stayed as a one-shot, but it looks like there was more to it.

yay ara posted a new story! and a new Wasteland one at that. i love these!
i have become such fan of your work since i started trawling through them one by one recently. you're so creative and the plots you come up with are so entertaining and creative.
oh, and i blame you for the weeknight i didn't get to bed until 3am b/c i couldn't stop reading until i finished a long story LOL!
