Ah! Great story, wish it didn't end here!

Your unfinished stories make me sad :( this was a brilliant read though, hot and lots of fun!

Author's Response: Yeah, the muse has gifted me with the rest of the story, thankfully, lol! I was just busy brainstorming for a while on how to get from Logan-is-at-the-mansion and Magneto-has-Marie to a fantabulous X1 plot line finale extravaganza that includes a marching band to go with the twists, lol - and she finally showed up! :P

Okay so the only person that I know who could technically reattach himself is Deadpool. I love deadpool. He's fuckin great. One of my 300 somthin comics is where his leg gets cut off and he starts beating people with it before he reattaches it.

But I like the concept of Wolverine doing it too. I know that it's not possible, but it's comforting to know that he can get decapitated and still live. Now THAT is a man.

Pretty good story.
The level of "damage" is pretty high, but with all the healing powers flowing around, it all seems reversible.

You have redeemed yourself admirably. I admit, in the magical world of all things 'X', it wasn't hard to imagine that Logan would recover, so perhaps my review of the last chapter was a bit hasty. But you did leave him, headless, alone in a deserted cabin in the frozen Canadian wilderness. Since you kept our heroes' presence such a well guarded secret, I had no way of knowing that his head would soon be returned to its rightful place.
Poor Marie. Now she's got that psycho Daken running around in her head, too. I'm digging how this is following the plot of X1 but with your own twists. Nifty. --Wendie

Now the only reason I have to keep reading this story is to see Logan avenged -- wickedly, violently-- which will not make for nearly the happy ending I was hoping for. Author's Response: Daken is a comicverse character who has his own series, which I think is called Son of Wolverine, and then he also masquerades as Wolverine in Dark Avengers, I think. I'm not totally sure on that last part, lol. He's Wolverine's son from back when he was in Japan, Logan at the time had a wife named Itsu. Daken, overall is kinda screwed up in the head, which you'll see in the next chapter :)
