Author's Response: I am so glad the last line made you smile. I just couldn't leave the reader steeped in all the deep, deep SERIOUSness, if you know what I mean. Kind of the 'rainbow after the storm' theory, I guess. And my sometimes twisted sense of humor just wouldn't stop shoving that line in my head, whether I wanted it to or not. Something about all that boo-hooing just cried out (no pun intended) for a little levity as a balance and there's nothing quite so funny as Logan insulting Scott, even posthumously! Best jab in all of the X-Men movies is still this from X1:rnrn'It's me.'/'Prove it.'/'You're a dick.'/'OK.' Even Scott knows enough not to argue!
