Except he promised her parents he'd take care of HER, right???
Author's Response: He promised to take care of her, yes. Because of that he valued her higher than any other mutant, and her survival was his goal. But he would have made sure that she survived even without his promise. She's a formidable weapon, and most likely will survive in the real world.

Wow. That is one heck of an ending. I'd try to write a more profound review, but I'm still in the, WOW phase. All I can keep thinking is WOW and Damn!
