Author's Response: yeh, i know its been over 2 weeks insce my last update. i have the idea for this chapter and was sitting down to work on it tonight, but something wasn't working...then inspiration struck. so the next chapter will be up tonight or tomorrow evening at the latest. sorry for making you wake. this chapter will get us moving towards the end of the story, i had to throw in a couple of chapter of fluff just for fun, but one reader rightly pointed out they were concerned the story was losing focus. so back to the real plot!

I really dig all the attention you are paying to the whole motley crew, not just Wolverine and Rogue. Great job of showing the subtle changes in Cyke and Wolvie's attitudes toward each other. It ain't exactly a lovefest, but a level of detente seems to have been reached. I love the group action, but I'm looking forward to more of 'Wolvie's head' as he suffers the frustration of the next chapter. --Wendie
Author's Response: thanks! i was beginning to think i was neglecting pyro and his basketball dreams and the other students a bit, so i had to give me a few minutes in the sun so to speak. next chapter should be up in a few days.

I love this bit of fluff and hopefully the Professor is getting ideas for the danger room and the team. The way you wrote the kids coming together and the developing relationship between Wolverine and Cyke is really well done and feels very natural. Well done as always.
Author's Response: welllll, i don't know if the prof is ready to unleash these kids in the DR considering how much damage they do during to the yard recess but we'll see ;) and thanks for the compliment on Cyke and Wolverine, yeh they drive each other nuts but they can't hate each other forever...OR CAN THEY? *cue ominous music*

Author's Response: thanks...after i wrap this up in another 2-5 chapters i'm going to finish The Only One Who Can, which only needs 1-2 more chapters then work on Don't Let Me Catch You which still has probably 6-8 shaps to go.

Okay, so I have to admit, I like Scott Summers. Am I allowed to say that on this website? Well, either way, I’ve said it and there’s no going back!
He’s a big part of the X-men and I can’t get enough of the Scott / Logan banter. And this chapter had it all! I love that they ended up kinda’ respecting each other…just a little at least.

Author's Response: normally i might boo and hiss a Scott fan, but in this story i'm actually kinda warming up to the big jerk lol! and yes, a story can only be improved by Cyke vs. Wolverine macho male arguments!

Author's Response: i actually did an inadvertant gut bomb on my ex. he was tickling and wouldn't stop, even though i was begging him. i finaly yelled that he would be sorry and he was like "oh yeh?! what you gonna do?!" and i couldn't help it and farted right on him. i swear to go he turned to a stutue in .005 seconds...then i started laughing and farted on him again. he ran out of the room like a shot. i literally laughed myself until i cried while he was in the other room sulking over how gross i was.rnrnwhatever...there's a reason he's an ex. it was funny!

I don't really review stuff but I am seriously in love with this story. Maybe because the way Logan thinks how much Rogue is different from other women he"s been with or the cute factor of them being teenagers. It really does bring you back to those places where impressing the opposite sex was the only thing you thought about. Funny, creative and well written. I read the chapters on the train on my way to work! Pleaseee continue. One of my fav stories!
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad my story prompted your to review...I am total comment whore so it's much appreciated. I just had to see what they'd be like as "regular" teenagers with those powers, school, rivalries, trouble-making like another teen would bein our world. I have to say the story has taken on a life of its own and delights me too. I had originally planned for it to be like 10,000 words but the characters sprang to life in a way I didn't expect and demanded a lot more story to make them happy.
