This conjured one of the most vivid mental pictures I've ever had while reading. Ever. Crystal clear. And hilariously funny. The key word being 'instinctively' -- the poor bastard didn't even think about it -- HAHAHAHAHAHA! There it is again...

Teething can be such a harrowing stage of development, even when the baby isn't 'an out of control mutant' baby. Although I suspect he meant to use that liquor to soothe his own nerves, it works great on sore gums, too! Another hilarious chapter, particularly the slow-growing eyebrows and 'bad plug job' hair. I hope he's his old self by the time Marie grows up again, or she might think he looks too old and weird for her! Ha, ha! -- Wendie
