Just a hint: Her mother wouldn't know the white hairs were caused by an accident. She'd probably just think she died it.
Author's Response: I wasn't suggesting that her mother would automatically know. I was imagining that her mother would ask about it and Rogue would tell her it was an accident in such a way that her mother would leave the subject alone. That's why a put inverted commas around the word 'accident' to show she doesn't quite believe Rogue and thinks there is something Rogue is not telling her (and she'd be right of course) but doesn't feel she has the right to push her. Sorry I wasn't clearer in the story.
This is quite simply wonderful! I'm so glad I came across it. “My name's Rogue,” a very powerful line, given the circumstances. The whole of the final section, the Logan / Rogue relationship description, was brilliantly written. I can't wait for more...
Author's Response: Thanks^_^ There probably won't be a sequel though, if that's what you're hinting at. Sorry.
sometimes its so nice to have a friend who doesn't have to talk problems to death. too many folks want to fix things instantly and don't understand that what you need is time, and maybe a little silence. good story, and i liked the flow. made for easy reading.
Author's Response: Thanks^_^ Sometimes silence is good and a lot of people don't understand that.
This was really lovely! I especially loved the last bit that focused on the Rogan, but the dynamic with her mother was VERY well done, and very true to how I think her mother might have reacted to Rogue's mutation and their circumstances. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks^_^
