Ok I'm loving this story but just thought I should add that Moviemom is partially right, exclusivly breastfeeding does stop ovulation and menstration but there is no time limit, it works for as long as the mother is exclusivly breast feeding, which is about more than 6 feeds a day, it can work for years so long as enough milk is being produced. Woman in Africa often breast feed for 5 or more years to stop themselves getting pregnant again.

And perhaps Marie could put in a good word for Becca's dad, without telling her friends who he is, just to make sure they don't think he's such a creep? Logan must be feeling pretty low with some of the things the kids are saying about "Becca's Dad".

HAHAHA. It's so funny that Logan would care about something so small as the color of his child's clothing. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who would care about that when it comes to himself. Yet,I can totally picture him throwing a hissy fit because of something so small when it comes to his baby girl. She's totally going to always be a Daddy's girl.

Completely agree w/your "WTF", desy, my best gf called me up to announce she was pregnant w/her second child, her first only being about 4 months old...she actually said to me "But, I'm breastfeeding!! I just don't know how this happened!!" and she's a college graduate!!

I like how Wolverine singled out the guiltiest parties, but he also let the whole student population know that the rumors would not be tolerated AND they were full of misinformation. As for the breastfeeding as birth-control thing, that's actually true for about six months after birth, but the mother has to breastfeed exclusively (no bottle feeding or breast pumps). The sucking action of the baby's mouth releases hormones that prevent ovulation and menstruation -- nature's way of ensuring that one baby will be nourished effectively for some time before another one comes along. Still, it requires getting pregnant and giving birth--something all those little X-brats should be trying to avoid anyway!

As for Logan announcing to the whole school that Rogue got pregnant her first time--I wonder how long it's going to take for someone to ask the question--'How does he know THAT?' I'm with Cherryblossom, I'm looking forward to the truth coming out and Wolverine being able to proudly claim his cub! --Wendie

Author's Response: Hehe, thanks for the review. I know that breastfeeding as birth-control thing (but thanks for that detailed explanation), though I wouldn't tell that teenage mothers, just to be on the safe side ;-)
What concerns the 'How does he know THAT?'-question it never came up to me, since I thought that all students think Marie was grilled by all teachers after Becca's birth and she eventually told them. But maybe I'll let this question slip in the story.
I am planing that the truth will come out about the baby's father, but you have to hold in mind that - though it's already 16 chapters - Marie gave birth only three days ago...
