Thanks for the mention. I really enjoyed when Rogue bended over laughing even though I didn't get the Callum/Logan showdown I was hoping for. Oh well, I do look forward to a bit more angst before Logan gets a happy ending :)

I figured Callum's efforts would backfire big time, but he's still a sneaky, small-minded prick for doing it at all.
And as far as quoting favorite lines, once again they are almost too numerous to count, but this one stood out rather much...
"Oh darlin’,” she puffed out in between giggles, “If you think that’s what kissin’ the Wolverine looks like then you’re one innocent little Yankie!” Too right!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeell yes! That was damnably beautiful. I fell like Peter effing Pan. I could seriously crow right now. I like the pov from Callum. I like that he recognised things that he didn't like about himself but he just brushed off. I like that he was a total a$$wipe. It makes me happy. I'm glad that Logan thinks that his job is half done now. Or that he recognises, at least, that HIS Marie is back. I could really kiss you for this. I was afraid that he had recorded the conversation at the end of the last chapter and that Rogue would feel mighty pissy about being clotheslined by her friends into something that she had decidedly left behind. Thank you.

Hoot hoot hoot! That is the best damn break-up scene *ever*. Thank you for this once again fantastico installment. I love that Marie and Callum are finished and Marie and Rogue are back together again. But Jubilee is right; don't get too cocky, Logan!
Not getting to check this site much since the baby was born (maybe I should start reading the updates to her as bedtime stories? It's all in the tone, right?) And was thrilled to see and read your newest chapter. Keep 'em comin'!

Oh, breathtakingly beautiful!I keep loving "LoganS' girls", how much consideration shows in the trio's characterisation. Great how each plays a role and yet never becomes a type, wonderful to see Kitty getting some space in this, relievingly interesting how the "barfly incid could ent" is resolved. (I never did believe that Logan of the staunch loyalties would be someone to fall for the "oops, I cheated" dumbness.)
Hm, and Callum really stps at nothing mean. Will Rogue feel betrayed? It would provide her with a feasible reason forLogan not meeting her eyes when he went from her and with KitKat. I wonder what Callum thinks her reaction will be. Demure heartbreak, probably. Has he ever seen Rogue throw a good honest fit? This might be a great chance. Go on Rogue, you can't have forgotten all your instincts, you KNOW the difference between an up-front fighter and a mean-spirited, crawling, spineless... but I get carried away. Yayy hobbits! :-)

So the truth finally comes out in another great chapter. I've been wondering how he could have possibly cheated on her when it seemed so out of character - too cruel and selfish - since he obviously adores her. And now we find out why and it makes perfect sense. I could totally see Logan sabotaging the relationship out of a desperate need to protect the woman he loves and his belief that he doesn't deserve her. You really did an excellent job conveying how he was driven by love, fear and self-loathing to make the biggest mistake of his life. That's a pretty intense combination that could cause anyone to do something stupid but with good intentions. And besides, Logan has never been shy about sacrificing himself for her.
I really liked how you wrote Kitty as the voice of reason and someone that Logan trusts and can confide in. You did an excellent job of portraying the close relationship between Kitty and her "sensei" - great reference back to the comics too. As for Logan, you really captured his voice and the scene perfectly.
On a side note, when I got the alert that you had updated I was totally psyched, not only because you had updated but also because I was alerted that you had posted three chapters (#30-32) instead of one. When I got to the website I realized that I had been duped by the WRFA gremlins again. Damn you, WRFA gremlins, and your cruel, teasing ways!!! ;) Anyway, this chapter and your excellent writing completely alleviated my initial desire for vengence against the gremlins.

Oh mess. I'm conflicted. Not about your writing - that's always superb. I don't know how I feel about what Logan did. I don't want him to easily be forgiven for it, but it kinda makes sense (Exhibit #55642 of how your writing rocks right there). Did you plan it this way all along? Very interesting.

You took Logan to a place I don't think I've ever seen him go before and you did it without losing a single iota of his personality. I had a horrible suspicion that he'd done the redheaded barfly for 'noble' reasons, so that part wasn't a shock. Now, Callum and his goddamn camera phone, however...that was a nasty sucker punch I didn't see coming...I look forward to that prick being systematically dismantled by Logan and his Hell's Belles. This story is too cool for words. I love how you weave in characters from the comics. You really do an awesome job writing action too. There are so many things that I love about this story: AC/DC titled chapters, kick ass girl power characters, smart ass dialogue and angsty/sexy Rogan.

Oh, you now, I don't mind Callum getting a good walloping - he can't be "nice", just real is good enough. And Logan is in this one, completely human in being in love and being a complete moron (a combination not entirely unheard-of in the male part of human & mutant population). the honestly bestest thing, though, are the girls fighting together: they majorly rock! The Callum-Logan confrontation was well worth waiting for and that KISS -- whew! --I'm just sorry Marie's heart didn't 'heal' along with the rest of her so she could tell Callum to take his tight ass to the far side of the moon and leave her and her man the hell alone. But, there's more to the story, so I can still hope...
So glad the angst won't last much longer. I dare say, might Logan and Marie actually TALK to each other, as in COMMUNICATE, SHARE, FORGIVE...GROW? Nothing would make me happier...well, except maybe some of that ultra-hot ROGAN sex you're so good at writing...heh,heh. --Wendie

Oh, I never said porn WITH plot was a bad thing... ;-) Really very much enjoy your girls fighting, though. They are tough and inventive and can stand their own - such a relief from so many "I need him to protect me" girls.
Oh, and Wolverine? With the "I'm not letting her go again"? Not your decision, I'm afraid.
And now the boyfriend is saving her life. It's about time he became a little less of a type (much as I enjoy bashing him), if you don't mind me saying so. Anyway, Logan does know about obligations, and his own shortcomings, and he'll have to chew on this one quie a while, I'd imagine. Ha, angst!
