No wonder he calls himself Daken, 'Sonofafuckingbitch' would be really hard for a kid to learn to spell. Geez, I bet Logan's gonna be a while figuring out how that monster could possibly in a million years have sprung from his loins. And still with the mystery as to WHY the monster is so bent on destroying not only the Wolverine and those he loves, but his reputation as a 'superhero' as well.

Besides all the breath-taking action and suspense, what makes this story so ripe for movie-making is the dialogue. Every word out of their mouths -- and every thought passing through their brains, for that matter -- is exquisitely appropriate to the moment at hand and still downright hilarious. Case in point: "Now that shit is just plain wrong." *still laughing*

This was great actioned packed and had some of the funniest one liners i've read in a long time. I think it's time to change your name to hobbits do it the greatest.

You have reduced me to ridiculous campy cheerleadery feelings and emotions. I just fell like squeeing and giggling and clapping girlishly while bouncing in my seat going, "Yay, yay yay." Eventually the girlish giggling turns a little darker and somewhat disturbing, but I just feel so damned happy after reading this chapter that it is a wonder that my chair isn't sporting a lovely wet spot from an overabundance of excitedness resulting in spontaneous peeing like a brand new puppy. SO, my greatest hobbit, thank you, once again.

For a minute there, my head was spinning like a wounded fighter plane...but I think I've got it under control again. I think. And something tells me Tony won't be nearly as pissed about the automotive carnage as he will be if they fail to get Pepper out safely.

But my favorite part of this chapter is that Logan finally understands what a dumbass he is...and, unbeknownst to him, Rogue STILL can't stay mad at him. You are a genius at balancing the action with the angst. Can't wait for more! --Wendie

Have never tried crack, but can easily believe these two are better, especially in your hands. GREAT to see Rogue's punch at PornSmurf (love that one!!) coming out of nowhere the last chapter. As for the drama: it's amazing of what people can convince themselves, but at least we can stand by and see Truth. It's when there's two truths that life gets really difficult. Yes, she loves him, no she can'T trust him. The only solution I now is to admit both truths and then go beyond knowing. It's called faith. And it can result in a really beautiful, strong, wise love... or in a really stupid, painful mess. I'm still not quite sure if it's worth it, myself. But it's wonderful to have a story again here that comes up with these issues without having to spell them out. Thanks!

Oh these two. Will they ever catch a break? I love their interaction here. The tension is so tangible. Loved it...well, I didn't, but...I did...well, I'm sure you get the idea.
