Absolutely lovely. The great challenge of song fics, as I see it, is to connect the song and the story without simply regurgitating the song into the story. You've done a good job of that. I especially like how you used the 'cold fear' in connection with the 'bitter snows'. If you ask me, you're more than welcome to do more song fics. --Wendie

Author's Response: I thought I'd try something outtsidf my comfort zone. Don't know why I have to scare myself like that. When I hear that song it screams Logan/Marie.

I don't know the song, but either way, this was an intensely sweet little piece. I liked it. :)
