Barely Legal Since 2000
Holy hell, woman! Of all the counter attacks I might have imagined Remy would launch...THAT was so far beyond the realm of possibilities it was totally in another universe. You really are the Queen of Twists.
The dance lesson, as anticipated, was enormously entertaining -- and proof, once more, that there really isn't anything he wouldn't do for her.
I ain't sayin' it'll be pleasant, but I am anxious to read about Logan's chin bouncing off the floor when Remy's surprise arrives... --Wendie
Ah, let the good times roll indeed. I really, really wish I could be a fly on the wall in this story. Luckily you're descriptive enough to practically give me heat stroke just * reading* about Logan & His Magnificent Ass.
*sigh*
Only you could write a believably bashful Logan. Jubes has a point, not all hairy criminals are likable - just the one laced with adamantium. If they stay in New Orleans long enough maybe Jubilee will singlehandedly make the south rise again.
You can seriously paint a picture with words, hobbit. This is turning into my favorite WIP. Even though I usually hate them, I don't have the attention-span to keep up lol.
My absolute favorite :
"His nerdy sense was now having kittens." Oh, girl, where DO you find them?? Although, Gambit just happens to be hot. Yes, I'm talking "Wolverine-the movie". A bit more body hair and he'd be my favorite. The way it is, Wolvie still holds no. 1.
You've come up with some fairly twisted maneuvers in the past, but this, Hobbit oh Hobbit, takes the Gold Corkscrew every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Peter Parker teaching the Wolverine to dance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Good Lord, if Marie doesn't see how much he loves her after THAT then she never will. Then again, if Spidey pulls this off, I'm sure Kitty will see to it that Logan isn't the only one getting lucky. I positively cannot wait for the dance lesson to commence. Or for what is sure to follow. Sounds like you've got a whole bunch of hot, smexy writing to do...so, chop, chop, woman...Make it so! --Wendie
P.S. Fav line #1: His nerdy sense was now having kittens.
Fav line #2: '...and you can do a dancing Obi-Wan on Logan.' Of course, I'm still not sure which was funnier, the line or the classic male gesture that followed it so swiftly. (Ain't mental pictures grand?) --W.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha! Go For The Kill! Or world domination, whatever floats your boat. Damn! That was the perfect amount of hairy wonderful that I needed. Thank effing you!

The ginger stick-insect reference just cracks me up every time! Hilarious!
Okay, I'm really looking forward to Logan getting his girl and kicking Remy's ass! Can't wait to see what kind of impact the girls have on Logan's predicament too. Plus, I hope Rogue figures out Gambit's playing her and gives him hell.
Loved how you tossed Mary Jane in there! Perfectly sets the stage for Spidey, and the Rogue/Remy flirtfest was a thing of beauty.
"he looked like the type of man who laughed easily and often, a far cry from the Wolverine and his death-and-me-are-Molson-buddies stoicism". A) I can see this in Remy, good characterization. B) Same with Wolveroni. Only funnier.
I also want Rogue to find out that she's getting played & show Remy just how the South Shall Rise Again with her own brand of ass kicking.
Remy be stupid. xXx
"death and me are Molson buddies stoicism"? :) Fantastic! Thanks for the great update-- though I'm hoping Rogue starts seeing through the fact she's getting played.
Oh, what tangled webs...and all that...and Spidey ain't even in on the action yet! Mary Jane? Logan and Mary Jane? Ewww. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Remy fights dirty, but still... I REALLY love this! Can't wait for more! --Wendie
Oh, yoi had an even better day than usual when you wrote this, you must've! :-D Great fun to see Marie lighting up like this, really vivid her sidewalk encounter ("a slice of ... on the last day of Lent" LOL) and yes, Remy is something else entirely, ain't he? Nooooo, Rogue, he'S not playing you, not evah... GReeeeat! Thanks for my first big grin of the day!
I'm really loving this story! Love the humor! There are so many great lines and images--Logan punching the wall, Wolverine Action, "Kill me now" and the list goes on. I found myself laughing out loud many times. I'm really looking forward to your next chapter!
This chapter was so entertaining!
“And also to show her (while he was at it) that he too could do sensitive and caring - In, ya know, a badass sort of a way.” – Love it. Because there is no other way the Wolverine could be.
“So you reckon he thinks Ah’m pretty?” “Fuck no!” Oops. – Hahahaha!
Now, come on Wolvie, just grab your girl and show her what’s what...
I love it. I really do. Thank you for a fight conversation that is actually realistic and not just some fabricated Days of Our Lives crapola.

Logan truly is the best at what he does, even when what he does is screw up his own life. It would have taken any mortal man considerably longer, I think, to reach Def-Con Five on Marie's emotional disaster scale. I can't wait to see how Jubilee's contribution to the whole mess shakes things up.
Fav line: Kill me now. The frustration in that one line practically dripped off the page and still made me laugh out loud. --Wendie
I keep loving your band of girls! they're great craic!! If you allow me, the image of Wolverine going shy is a bit over-used for my taste, but this is a brightly, painted story, so that's ok. :-) Great to see Remy gets some space; the character deserves it! Er... character? ;-)
Hobbits, hop hop!
Still loving this! More soon please!
Yay, love Gambit’s POV, very entertaining!
“The gesture territorial, everything about it screaming Mine and Don’t You Fucking Forget It, Bub.” – Exactly.
“And you are..?”
“Armed.”
Brilliant! You come up with the greatest dialogue. You always manage to write characters that I'd want to hang out with - even if they're neck deep in drama.
Definitely the cure for a bad week!
Oh yeah, Gambit's gonna stir things up!
Thank you thank you thank you! I was having a shitty day/week until I read this. I like it. I like it a lot. I love the growly and the gambling and the flirting. And the "armed". That was perfect. Hell, that was exactly the kind of laugh I needed. Thank you so much.

looks like someone's gana have to start making an effort. xXx
