Barely Legal Since 2000
Perfect ending.
Thank you for having Marie deal with what had happened to her with counselling - someone bouncing back easily from trauma from that just couldn't wash with me without some major healing time. And you showed that.
Too sweet, love how it was a group effort when they got married and then the ending? Again, I have to tell you. PERFECT. Your little James is edible, lol
That's two in less that one week that you've ended! Holy cow, woman. Now I shall have to bug you to get cracking on your next one. :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much for all your support and sticking with me on this wild ride. I've enjoyed each review. As for Marie, I don't know anyone who could suffer such hell, and not need serious counselling and support to even start taking the steps to recovering. The others had come to mean so much to Marie and had been there for her through thich and thin, that were truly her family now. After everything she had suffered, I think she deserved to have a special day surrounded by her family. I thought James for adorable too. ;)We'll see about the next one.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this. Beautiful dialogue between Logan and Rogue - his understanding that she needs time to heal and his declaration that he would wait. *sigh*
As for Jean? Beautiful as well. The way he sent out images of what he would do if she ever tried to hurt Rogue again was picture-perfect (literally, lol). Yes, he is a feral - a killer when he needs to be and I loved how you had him show it to her. Take THAT, b@itch. :)
Aww..epilogue? I'm bracing myself for the end of this great story...
Author's Response: Logan knows how to be vulnerable while still being manly. He also knows what his Marie needs and he will do everything in his power to give it to her. As for Jean, I think she got what she deserved. She needed to realize Logan wasn't someone she could manipulate or lead around by his penis. He's got his feral killer side that few ever see, but the quickest way for someone to see it would be to mess with his family. I have to admit, I did so enjoy the feral menacing chuckle at the end he projected along with his thoughts. I think I might have my own little feral side. ;)
:(
On no, poor, poor Rogue! Here I thought the last chapter was brutal! God, how horrible - slashing away at her body to get the nightmare induced Sabretooth to stop hurting her. Thinking she needed to kill herself to do it...
Logan really stepped up to the place here. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks. I just hope it wasn't to brutal. Logan will always have Rogue's back in my stories. Even if he can be a jerk sometimes. Love the reviews.
Big wave right back at you! :)
So, like...WOW. Revelation after revelation here. Poor, poor Rogue. How brutal, how horrible. This chapter had a mixture of tragedy and joy, only in that Logan got to learn his real name and that the person responsible for turning him into a weapon was dead. But Kayla? Oh man. That's rough.
As for Rogue telling Logan that Victor raped her, it was good that she got it out there. Its realistic that he would have while she was captured and Logan needs to know just how much she suffered while he was away.
You did manage to make me laugh though, I never noticed that you had Sam Lee, instead of Stan Lee in your disclaimers! Just goes to show how quickly I like to dive into your stories! :) Now, on to the next chapter because I see that you have gone into overdrive!!!
Author's Response: I have my Jean issues, but it would seem I was more mean to Rogue in this story than I was to Jean. I agree, poor, poor Rogue. rnrnI couldn't believe I wrote Sam Lee, instead of Stan Lee. I am just so embarrassed to be a X-men fan, and get that wrong. (Hide my face in shame.) LOLrnrnThanks for sticking with me, and review. I enjoy hearing from you about your thoughts on each and every chapter.
Aw!!! Thank you darling TB, but quite frankly, it's you that is so wonderful!!!
;)
As for Jean? That. Bitch. Honestly, I am so ready for Rogue to just slap her, lol! Poor thing though - she has so much on her plate. And I just love how Logan sought out his son and breathed him in. I could just see those burly arms holding that little baby... *sigh*
Great story!
Author's Response: I do have my Jean issues, that need to come out some times. She needs a good butt kicking every once in awhile. *Grin*. I love the thought of Logan connecting with his son, after learning about Creed. Logan is to possessive not to need to reaffirm his claim on those he considers his. Thanks again for all your support. I do so love to read your reviews. I get a kick out of them. :D
Well Crap! I swear that Jean needs to get run over by a semi truck or something. Darn her. Thanks for the shout out. I love this fic and can't wait to read more.
Time for a Jean-Smack-Down! Whoop!
Author's Response: I know right. (*evil grin, evil menacing laughter*) Jean will soon know what it means to have the fear of Wolverine put into her. Thanks for reviewing!!
Great story. Hate Jean. Love Logan and Rogue. And awww... Logan's a daddy! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. I have a love/hate relationship with Jean myself. Right now, I'm letting her be bad Jean. Who doesn't love them some Logan and Rogue, right? :D Rogue and I think Logan will make a great daddy.rnrnI hope you are having a better day. Wishing you much health and a speedy recovery!!!!
You have me all worried now! What is gong on with that evil b*tch Jean?
As much as I love a territorial Logan (Marie-wise), a territorial daddy Logan is just as delicious! Nice to see Rogue not alone anymore when it comes to little James.
Thanks for updating, and great, great work! :)
Author's Response: Grrr! I can't help but love a territorial Logan, especailly over his little family. Thanks for your continued support on this story. I'm glad to know there are a few still reading and enjoying it.
I found this utterly perfect.
I don't think your Logan is over the top - in fact - after everything they have been through and him trying to make it up to Marie, I can see how supportive and loving he would be - especially because he's discovered that James is his biological son. I think he's allowed a little happiness, don't you think?
Plus, he's getting all possessive (mee-yow) of his little family.
Great story - I am so happy you updated, I was a little worried there! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad it wasn't over the top. I'm trying to update more often now, but it seems that Real Life just doesn't won't to let up. I get a few minutes here and there to read, but not a lot to write, edit, and post. Thanks for your kind words and support. It brings a big smile to my face. :-D
gah, what a place to hang a cliff. need more soon!!!!
Aaah, you left us hanging, lol. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next chapter :)
Author's Response: Hi Aoria. I know, but you have to say it keeps you curious to find out what is around the corner, which was my intentions. Thanks for encouragement. I can use all I can get. Thanks for taking the time to let me know what you think, and I hope you keep reading and enjoying. :D
perfect cliffhanger... perfect evil cliffhanger ;)
Author's Response: Hey bima140277. Thanks, I thought it was a pretty good one to. I do have a tiny wee bit of wickedness in me, but I'll try to be good and update soon. No promise thought. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
EEP.
I agree with WhiteDove...you can't leave it there!
But in the meantime, can you send your Logan over here so he can give some pointers to my hubby?)
:) Great chapter. I can hardly wait for the "Conversation."
Author's Response: Hey serafim,rnI know, I know. Evil me. I just couldn't resist. I'd be happy to lend you my Logan, just make sure to send him back. I'm rather partial to him. ;D. Thanks for sticking with me, and reviewing.
It's terrible that Marie isn't able to truly trust Logan's love for her - I have to tell you, my fingers are crossed that he'll be forgiving, especially after everything he's put her through.
Ororo is just a gentle soul, the way you have portrayed her is perfect. Love it. :)
Author's Response: Hey there. I always liked Ororo. To me, she is a loving and caring soul, just don't cross her or hurt anyone she loves. As for Marie, I think she finds it hard to believe anyone can truly love her after everything she's been through and done. I hope you continue to read, and enjoy. I'm glad to know a fellow aurthor that I enjoying reading their stories are enjoying mine. Thanks for your kind review.
You stop there??? Are you TRYING to torture me? Uggg! You have to update soon!!!!!
Author's Response: Hey there. No torture intended, well maybe just a tad. :b. I just figured it be a good place to stop, to keep everyone waiting to find out what happens next. I'll try not to leave you hanging for long. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I hope you are enjoying.
Where have I been that I missed this update?!
I love how Logan is becoming determined to make up for his behaviour with Marie and how he's stepping up to the plate to help her with baby James. A man who's willing to change diapers is good enough for me! :) Great chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks serafim for your review. I totally agree, that a man willing to help take care of all the babies needs is worth his weight in gold. rnEspecially in Logan's condition, with his sensitive nose and ears. And I think he definitely needed to make up for his sharp tongue and nasty attidute. Thanks again for reading and reviewing. I hope you keep reading and keep enjoying.
As a fellow cold sufferer I understand what you are going through, but I am very happy to find an update to read while I'm feeling under the weather. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Author's Response: Hey jnet,rnI happy that I could provide you with some entertainment while you're sick. I'm still not back to 100% yet, but I am definitely doing a lot better. I wish you a speedy recovery too!
I read this in one sitting and can't wait for more!
Author's Response: I'm glad to know you're enjoying it so far. Hopefully, I will be able to get the next chapter out soon. Thanks for reviewing.
Ooh, more more. Good job so far. I'm wondering how hard its gonna hit Logan when he finds out the baby's parentage.
Linda.
Author's Response: I can't give anything way. I'm going to be mean and make you keep reading if you really want to know. ;) Thanks so much for letting me know what you think so far.
Hmm. The bare bones of the plotline have some interest to them, but I'm sorry to say that the characterizations don't ring true to me at all. Nor does the dialogue; when I read your dialogue, I just don't hear the movieverse actors speaking in the least. Finally, I would highly suggest that you find a beta reader. I know your story has the warning, but the very large number of typos and misused words (there/their/they're) is quite distracting.
Author's Response: To Baybelletrist,rnThank you for reviewing to let me know what your thoughs are about my story. You have given me something to think about as I reread over the piece. I'm sorry to hear the story is not to your taste. Thank you for at least giving it a chance. I'd also like to thank you for bring the typos to my attention. I am going to try, and be more careful in the future.
I am loving this story and can't wait for another chapter. I love the drama and the emotions I get to feel reading it.
Author's Response: I'm so glad to know you are enjoying Discoveries. I enjoyed writing it a lot. I know everyone see's Logan being a lot more rough around the edge and more a man's man so to speak, but I felt when faced with the horror that Marie went through and realizing he could loose them, he be welling to swallow his pride and do what it took to be the man he believes Marie deserves. I'm not very good with description, but I'm glad you're enjoying the drama and emotions, I've tried hard to make it come out right. Thanks for the support.
Ohhh things are heating up! Dang Logan letting that mouth get away with him. Poor Rogue.
Great chapter!
Author's Response: Logan's got a hot head and a short fuse, especially when he's jealous. I'd say the shoe is on the other foot now. Rogue isn't the one being jealous over Logan and Jean. I thought Logan needed to be brought down a peg or two. Mean, I know. Thanks for reviewing and your support.
Great story so far! Logan...Grrrr...I don't think I could master anything better then Jubes, so he can consider himself lucky, this time. Can't wait for the Office talk.
Author's Response: I love Jubes, and her spunky attitude. Once she gets going, watch out. LOL. Thanks so much for reviewing.
...relief that the relationship was now over. And then a week later Jean died of Frozen Vagina Syndrome.
(Just thought I'd add in the bit you missed :-) xXx)
Author's Response: LOL. Darn it, if that isn't a great idea. Love the idea, however I don't think that will work out with the story this time. Maybe next time. ;). You never know. Thats for reading and review.
