The trouble with reading a whole bunch of chapters at once is that pesky next button. And you with the suspense, of course. (I feel I can pause before the smut ... anticipation, you know ;) You balanced the suspenseful elements of this perfectly with Marie's emotional battle to rediscover herself and her own strength; unputdownable. Wonderful work!

Author's Response: Tee hee, I'm sure I'm not the first one to envision her mutation that way, but it was a nice convenient excuse to have touchable smut, which is much easier to write than barrier smut. ;-) I'm so glad you liked her acceptance of him as well. The more I write about these two the more the lovely symmetry of them strikes me. Glad I was able to convey that.

I'm glad that you started this chapter with my favorite line from the previous one. It was so good, it needed to be repeated!
This chapter is guaranteed to melt anyone's heart - first from the sweet and romantic confession to the smoking hot Logan-style "shock therapy".
If I may be so bold, I don't think anyone's going to complain about Logan being "dominating". I'm just saying. :-D

You're right, it has been slow the past month. Dunno about everyone else, but it's the start-of-semester craziness for me. Must be a lot of teachers/students on this site, heh.
Aha! A pill bottle. I was wondering what kind of container she might put Shaw in. That makes perfect sense. Her interaction with him was good. She's definitely not someone to be trifled with. Go Rogue ;P. But my favorite scene has to be her waking up, the needle poised at the ready. GAH! I could just feel the tension in that moment.
Logan’s gaze sharpened on hers, suddenly intent. “Yeah, Scott.” He paused for a moment, still studying her. “Her husband,” he added.
Okay I lied. ^^^^ That is my favorite moment. Grinning from ear to ear now. Silly Marie. Glad Logan cleared that up for her!
AHH okay I lied again. The last line is, like, my favorite line ever of all time. Guh. Awesome chapter. Best chapter so far. Yay.
Author's Response: Hey there! Hope your semester has calmed down a little. I'm glad the tension of the "Is-it-Shaw-or-is-it-Rogue?" moment worked. Yeah, isn't it nice how in a few words Logan can clear up all this Jean nonsense? I'm glad you liked that last line too. Thanks again for the review!

So excited to finally have time to catch up on this story tonight (okay, okay, so I don't have time, but screw you, data analysis, fic is more important). THREE new chapters!! Yippee =D.
I like Logan's shower thoughts. Well, and just him in the shower in general. But the thoughts are good, too. Very Logany.
Ooh Leech! Nice twist. I totally didn't see that one coming, and the way this chapter unfolded--bam, bam, bam--the pacing was perfect, and I don't know how you managed it without any exposition. Great writing. I can't wait to see what happens next. Which is okay. 'Cause I don't have to. *runs off to the next chapter*
Author's Response: Data analysis can definitely wait! Yes, shower + Logan is never a bad idea, is it? And I love the "Logany" adjective. Much better than "Loganesque." I'm glad you liked the Leech twist too, at times it feels like I'm throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this fic, but I do have a master plan. Author's Response: So glad you liked it! Yeah, I have to say, I happen to like an...um..."masterful" Logan myself at times, but this fic has already skewed towards a weaker Marie than I usually write, and I didn't want her to be all passive. She takes control in the next chapter, though, so I consider it fair play. And don't worry, hot Rogan sex is next on the agenda -- I figured it would just be all the hotter if I didn't have to keep throwing up barriers between their skin. I have done one sex scene with Untouchable!Marie but it is quite logistically challenging, and since I want this Marie to have control eventually I figured I'd just go ahead and get it out of the way so we can get on to the hot sexin'. ;-)

Not that I wouldn't have LOVED to have seen the exact moment, known the exact words Marie used to outsmart Shaw, getting him to give up Jean's whereabouts and then stuffing him in that bottle, but I am glad you didn't drag it out overmuch. It was more than enough, really, to have her tell him 'Before today you haven't even met me...' and than later to introduce herself sans gloves...Delicious. And Logan's last line is going down as one of my all time favorite Logan lines...OUTSTANDING! --Wendie
Author's Response: Yeah, honestly it became so Inception-y to try to figure out how Inner!Marie would actually contain Inner!Shaw that the more detail I added the less convincing it got. In the end, it's almost like she uses her mutation on him, but since they're both basically avatars in her head, what does that really mean? I choose to believe she just kind of contained him through sheer force of will. And I'm glad you liked Logan's last line -- I love "sensitive" Logan too!

I like how you sent Logan into a total panic mode when she put herself into a comatose state. And I loved how he went after her and she was under the false impression that he wanted Jean for himself. I can hardly wait for more!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! Yeah, Logan panicking is such a rare thing that I think it really communicates the depth of his feelings in a way that he would never otherwise acknowledge.
