Barely Legal Since 2000
Loved both versions. Good job!
I love both versions, and both Rogues. One sweet and tender, one kick ass and still tender LOL! Thanks for a twofer (two for the price of one :D)
Author's Response: Thanks so much. :)
on the ff website it won't let me review twice.
i wanna say i listened to the song, that gave you the inspiration for this story.
it is great. i can understand.
i downloaded it.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Love your stories cant wait for the next one! Hopefully!
Not sure how this whole thing ended up in the notes box, but I don't really care. This is one more example of your 'economy of emotion' and I absolutely love it. Yes, I am taking the liberty of naming your style. We could call it 'EOE' for short and the feds can stuff a sock in it. (Equal Opportunity Employer is so 20th century, don't you think?) Anything that shows Marie's absolute acceptance of both sides of Logan always makes my heart go ka-thump, ka-thump. And you totally read my mind with the 'we make a good team' line. I was thinking that very thing as I read your perfectly pitched banter between them. Can you say Hepburn and Tracy? Yikes! I just had an inspiration for a challenge...A rewrite of any Hepburn/Tracy film (or scene from said film) with our favorite mutants in the starring roles...Oh, the possibilities! And in case you were wondering, yes, my dear, you are more than up to the task. Now, where did I put that copy of 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?'... -- Wendie
Author's Response: To answer your question, apparently, the only way to post a story here right now is to put it in either the story or chapter notes. doctorg pointed that out when I first uploaded and nothing was there. Boo-urns. Thank you for the label! I always think I should work on expanding more but I tend to 'get to the point' a lot. I'm jealous of those writers who can just create a full scene without any dialogue. Oh well! Man, you've given me a plot bunny but I know the exact film I would love to do with them. Maybe, maybe!
I agree with Notmyself. I almost never like songfics, but I like this song, and it's perfect for Logan. :D Really great story! Love their connection, and how Marie brings Logan back to her. :)
Author's Response: Thanks much!
I don't like songfics. Almost never. This, I liked. Was very good. Made sense even without knowing the song. I think if you'd let this one fester long enough it could have hatched a very nice full length story. Thank you for sharing this.

Author's Response: Yeah, I don't like them either. Which is probably why this one was tough to write. I just loved the song when I heard it - it was so dang Logan. I actually wrote another version of the story as well but this one seemed to fit the lyrics more. I'm probably going to use more of the idea (the Wolverine) in my next story so I didn't want to flesh too much out in this - I just needed to get the 'brain dump' done! Thanks, as always, Mia!
Aw...very cute.
Author's Response: :) Thank you!
It's such a pain, but for now you have to paste the story text into the chapter notes or end notes. You still have to put something in the story text field, but it doesn't show up. :-( Feel free to also post it to the wrbeta list!
Author's Response: Oh for the love of Pete. Thanks for the heads up. I thought it showed when I check it but that must have been right after I posted. Argh.
