Devastating...excellent word!! OMG, what ANGST is such a small story! That blue bitch had better pay, Ally! I'm usually against beginning a story that's not already finished, but I HAVE to know what the %^&*( is going on, so I'm off to your latest installment (even if it takes a few years!)

Some stories are meant to continue! :) This is one of them. Really good story, it almost made me tear up like Logan.
Author's Response: I have heard the cries, and I'm probably giving in once I get all of my WIPs wrangled a bit more into shape. I'm a weak, weak author who is all-too-susceptible to praise. :-)

Seriously, darlin', this ain't no one-shot. You're really going to leave Logan on that steel table, his fate an eternal mystery? Really? And with Rogue's lie about 'someone else' ringing in his ears? And speaking of Rogue... will she never have a change of heart about telling Logan what happened to Jubilee? Speaking as someone who would kill to have such juicy ideas to work with in her own stories, I am begging you... don't leave them -- or us -- hanging like this!
Author's Response: You know, I try, I try so hard to write just angst. No swerving, no detours. I want them in pain. And then you readers come in and insist that there should be more... ;-) Okay, well, maybe with this one there might be something more I can do. It will be a sequel if it's anything because this particular installment deserves to stand on its own, and if there are actual, true angst fans out there they might appreciate me actually leaving an angst piece alone for once instead of turning it into a nice shipper fic. rnrnHowever, no matter what it's going to have to wait. "Something That We Do," "Rearview Mirror," "More Than Friends," and a few others are simply trying to burst out of my skull, and I get punished whenever I let another story take over, which I've been doing all too often this past week. So it's on the waiting list, dang it! LOL

Ally, why? Why? Maybe this shouldn't be a oneshot But per usual, you caught the emotion of both our beloved characters so well. And the twists!!! Well done.
Author's Response: So glad you "liked" the twists. Trust me, I asked myself "Why?!" as well. I really have no clue. At first it was just going to be a basic breakup story, but then it just kind of evolved from that as I was writing. Jubilee and Mystique kind of raised their hands and jumped up and down until I let them in.
